The right man in the wrong place, making all the difference since 1992 ;^)
Who is bl00dsh0t?
Matt Stevenson, known early in his career as bl00dsh0t and later simply as Stevenson, brought the understated politeness of a stereotypical Canadian to CS. Unlike many of the big names in early CS (especially NA), his reputation wasn't bolstered by POV demos or major interviews bragging about his skills. Instead, his big game play and regular carries against the best of North America truly spoke for itself. After his breakout carrying Nerve past the original mouz twice to make the final of WCG 2002, Stevenson joined an Evil Geniuses core with LaRi and Tyndale (blackpanther): a roster with people he just enjoyed being with, rather than one of exceptional strength. Despite offers from bigger and better teams, bl00dsh0t chose to stay carrying his friends. As a result, his next success would only come with the brief support of an actual teammate in the form of shaGuar in 2005, and together they'd make deep runs at CPL and WCG, with Stevenson pulling off characteristic huge rounds en route. When shaG found his way to 3D, it was back to the same old story for Stevenson, and his tournament results don't speak to the quality of player he really was. After years of sacrificing success for fun, once CGS rolled around, he reunited with shaGuar, and finally earned a rewarding victory befitting of that skill.
In all, bl00dsh0t was an unhateably humble player known for skill with all weapons, clutches, and calmly delivering in big moments, who chose having fun with his friends over career success.

Some guy that the Sword of Stevenson wallbang noscoped on train that one time. Pure skill, honest.
