Why would they let anyone play with a different Steam ID when he is banned by their own Anti-Cheat , so does that mean the system is flawed and anyone who turns on aim on matchmaking can play these qualifiers?

GG ESL, why not let all hackers just make their own hacking teams and play in qualifiers? Lovely decision making, any douchebag kid using google who can read a tutorial can use hacks all they want, and apparently that isn't against the rules.
inb4 Planetcheat 16-0's every team they play against in qualifiers (one match so far!)

Oh come on guys. Even if he was cheating on his smurf account (which pretty much seems to be the truth) he's still better than 99% of you (jw best). He has proven his skill on lan before, why not to let him prove his skill on a major event of the year?
You lads keep saying it was all about that moment with grenades on d2 middle. Well, can't it be the fucking coincidence? I am more than sure, that cLy wasn't cheating against bulgarian guys. Why would he?
And before you guys start shitstorming on me, telling me that I'm a fucking retard, who can't take the truth about blatant cheater who was banned several days ago I need to say, that I know what cheating is. I made some clips about cheaters on matchmaking, been busting cheating bastards for a while since 1.6 and cs:s.

TL;DR cLy might have not cheated on official games, since he had already performed like a beast before

And where does your claims that he was using smurf to cheat on?
I guess you got nothing to say, since according to cLy him self "he don´t reallllly know what caused the ban" BS again...
cLy im gonna go out on a limp here and say, you got caught with your paying hack like 40k other ppl did. Just leave scene and go be like water...

How do you know that? There is no proof of him cheating on some smurf acccount, and seriously, why would that even matter? All that matters is that he got caught by VAC, and that should be enough to get him banned from participating in these qualifiers.

Show me any LAN where he performed as well as he does online. He was good online, that's all. I don't see any reason for community to trust him after he got VAC banned.

Just the fact that 8 others I know off now have confirmed their VAC ban, was a result in them cheating, makes it smell even more. Stravos starts telling that it was cLy's broter who cheated on his acc, and then suddenly that story changed. It smells, and it smells bad in my head :)
If cLy is not cheating, which fair enough could be the case, then he should at least be suspended from playing tournaments like these, until the case is clear. He said he will contact valve, to figure out what casued the BAN, with that statement, and while we apprantly just forget about the brother one, I guess we will need an answer from him when he has been in contact with valve... With that statement he ruined the "I'm just silent from now on move" cause I assume people would like to know, what valve actually tells him. So if he takes contact to valve, and the account he was banned on, never gets unbanned, I think its safe to assume he/brother/someone has been cheating on it?
On the other hand should it get unbanned then everything would be fine for him, that would actually prove his innocence.
Still does not change the fact that he should be suspended until he either gets unbanned, or confirmed hacking. Take every other sports or cheat cases like an example, getting tested positive on your A test, your getting suspended, if the B test says positiv too, you're getting banned. If not, there is a case that you migt clean your self, exatly like cLy can do now.
If he is sure no one ever has cheated on his account I believe valve would make up for that mistake by ruling the ban back. But taking into consideration, that stravos told something, cLy something else, he got banned on the same day as at least 8 other people I know, also got caught cheating, and have admitted that their ban was a result of them useing cheats, it does not look good for cLy at all. Especially not that fact that their most likely is talking about a brought hack, since its a new types of hack valve has detected.
TLDR; Suspend him, until he has proven his innocence as he claimed he would do, letting a player that is suspected for cheating play a in a tournament for 250.000$ is beyond me :)
(English is far from flawless, hope you get the points beeing made)

Why does it matter if he will play in a 250.000$ tournament, it's not like he will cheat on LAN, and a non-BYOC lan even.
And why should they suspend him? It's ESL. They don't care if you got vac banned, otherwise they would suspend hundreds of people for something stupid.

So its okay if someone cheats in a qualification, and takes away the opportunity for another team to compete at a 250.000$ tournament? :D That's not even the question, think you're missing the whole point, if your first thought is if even matters :D

so because he doesnt cheat on lan he is free to do it in the internet, get VAC banned and still is allowed play a ONLINE qualifier for a 250'000$ tournament? what the actual fuck are you talking mate?
besides that, i agree 100% with pimp.

Great comment. I just hope that HLTV.org, Valve or ESL will keep us posted on the outcome of the ban and give us something to conclude this. Im afraid that the longer it takes, the more he can play without being banned from tournaments like these (If proven guilty ofc).
And taken all the circumstances into concideration, he most likely has been cheating, and even tho he never will use hacks again, it shouldn't go unpunished.

Have to agree with all your points - especially the ones where valve should take part in this, since it's also kinda their tournament.
I really dislike the dubious comments about how it happend

It also appeard that he deleted all of his friends from his account when he first got the VAC-ban. Not really an act you would see comming from someone who knows he is innocent, maybe it was his brother!

And again... I wrote on the other topic and you start your story here again. When does it end? What is your point? As I said I'm not protecting anyone but if cLy should be banned from other tournaments then you should be banned aswell for cheating through smokes in source which you admit.
Other known players didnt receive a "tournament" ban after they were banned by any anticheattool.
I still remember from Source that dav1d and nooky received a VAC ban. dav1d is inactive and what is with nooky? He still can play on these tournaments?
coloN, natu, schneider shouldnt be allowed aswell and yes you too for cheating which you admitted.

3½ years ago I used a bug in source, called ambient . Got the impression of it was the same as useing 16bit, og gammafix to make the smokes diffrent in 1.6. I have never used any 3rd program, aimbot, wallhack, brought hack, aimkey etc.
It's a long story, and a story I learned alot by, but with that said, its long time ago. I learned my lesson useing that bug. Go in buy cheat, and get vac banned is in my head not to be compared. Anyway I srsly won't change the focus on the matter. Also I would say there is a lot more to it, so if you are intrested in knowing you more than welcome to ask :)
Just think of it like this...
In 4 weeks cLy could be at cologne were he will be secured at least 2.000$ of valves own money. That would be 4 weeks after he was handed a ban for cheating, by the same guys :) That is in my head crazy :D

10/10, had to laugh. You can use publiccheats with a method, using wire :)

Pimp is right.
I'm not sure what rules ESL have in place but allowing a player banned by Valve for CSGO cheats to play in a qualifier is insanity.
I've always been a massive cLy fan since TCM Gaming, no doubt he is a great player but even some of the better CS players are actually not that intelligent people.
