ESL Poland had announced on May 18 that it was investigating a potential stream-sniping breach after a video emerged of AGO's players celebrating their victory in the final. Some of this has to do with everything being online. Depending on the tournament's server rules, teams play their map pick on the opponent's server pick, and the decider map on a "neutral" server. This can result in situations where even though it's a team's map pick, they can be an average of 20-30 ms higher ping than the opponent, and this makes a huge difference if one team is on 10 or so and the other is on ~40 or so. I think it's skewing things toward T side even more because the teams are making decisions on when to save based on what the correct decision would be on LAN, and in a decent amount of cases it may be preferable to attempt a retake considering peeker's advantage.
