Idk for sure if this changes someting, but Forze did enter with ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe spot, because SAW already had Master League Portugal Finals spot, so Esl choose to give that spot to another team, the next in line was Spirit, but Spirit is already qualified to Esl Pro League Season 17 a spot, so the spot continue is way down to the third place, which was Sprout but like Saw they got a spot for this competition from ESL Meisterschaft Autumn 2022 Finals, and finally forze, forze didn't have a spot so they got this one. I am thinking that forze stars one round ahead because they entered with Esl Challenger spot and SAW with Master League, so if we compare both competitions, esl challenger is better so they skipped the first round. The only thing is bothering me is that it was ESL who choose what spot was given to said teams, so SAW didnt have a saying in this and lose the esl challenger spot because they already got one. But if was SAW to choose which spot they wanted, probably they would choose ESL Challenger, and the spot in MASTER LEAGUE PORTUGAL would pass to FTW, but oohhhh well ESL things :') PS: sorry for bad english XD

I think most swiss players are just working normal jobs on the side + because switzerland's 2 most used language are french and german and both countries have bigger scenes, it probably prevents a good national team with the good players from both sides and the good players go play in more developped scenes like Maniac in France and rigoN with the albanians

SAW was 2-2 at the PGL Antwerp EU RMR A and was facing Outsiders for a last chance to qualify at the major (hltv.org/matches/2355756/saw-vs-outsider..). It's 1-1 in the series and the last map of inferno is very close, after struggling a bit on their T side SAW manages to get to 15-14 and on the last round of regular time they plant on the B bombsite, they're in a 3v2 that ends up a 1v1, stadodo vs Jame. Jame rushes stadodo and stadodo hits the noscope on Jame, but only legs him, and Jame manages to defuse at the very last second. After that SAW loses in overtime, they are mentally crush and they make roster changes after the major :( It was heartbreaking to see an underdog national team with pretty old players get so close and lose everything on a very little margin clip if you want to see youtu.be/PqZUPO0Sij8 :( youtu.be/EvnMW8ZERUg
