Cph Games structure explained
The Copenhagen Games organisers have shed some light on how the event's CS:GO tournament has been structured.
After the last editions of Copenhagen Games were a resounding success, the community is highly anticipating the 2013 event, which will be held between March 27th to 31st at Øksnehallen, an exhibition centre in the heart of the Danish capital.
The main CS:GO tournament, which will feature a prize purse amounting to €33,000, will consist of 32 teams, 16 of whom will be picked by the organisation out of all the applicants.
The remaining 16 sides will come from the 32-team qualifier, which will take place one day before the main tournament.
On March 29th, the main tournament will kick off with the group stage, which will consist of eight groups of four teams. The group winners and runners-up will progress to the Upper Bracket, while the third and fourth-placed sides will have to fight for survival in the Lower Bracket.
