Anexis lose CS:GO team

Anexis' CS:GO squad have confirmed to HLTV.org that they have parted company with the Germany-based organisation.

The news will certainly come a shock to many as the Danish team have been performing well since adding Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen in December, finishing runners-up to Ninjas in Pyjamas at Mad Catz after winning Gaming.dk and HKLAN earlier in the month.

In Vienna, Anexis topped their group with three victories from three matches before defeating TCM-Gaming and VeryGames in the playoffs to earn a showdown against NiP in the final, which they lost on two maps.

Danish team on the lookout for new home

Contract talks between the Danish team and Anexis broke down after Mad Catz, with the Germany-based organisation being interested in substantially lowering the terms of the deal, team manager Kevin "Kevz" Mikkelsen told HLTV.org.

"It’s with great confusion that we today are announcing our exit from Anexis eSport," he said. "During the evening, we sat down with Anexis eSport to discuss a new deal, and what they could offer us was not acceptable, it was actually worse than the previous one.

"Since there was no chance to come to an agreement with them, we decided to leave. When I say confusion, I mean that we have had a lot of success lately, like at Mad Catz in Vienna.

"We are a hard working team, always striving to improve, so it"s a huge surprise and a disappointment for us.

"All this means of course that we are in search of a new organization, so if you have any interest in our team you are welcome to contact me via via skype (Nilthias) or E-mail ([email protected] or
[email protected])."

The Danish team, who will go under the name unu.AiN (U need us . Awesome is nothing) until they find a new organisation, are currently 10th in ESEA-Invite, with 12 points from 14 matches.

unu.AiN have the following lineup:

Denmark Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander
Denmark Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen
Denmark Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen
Denmark Nichlas "Nille" Busk
Denmark Jacob "Pimp" Winneche

i dont know about that really. anexis as a team are solid enough to get results while trace and friis dont seem like their old self. In 1.6 they were beasts. On the other hand a successful mixture of 1.6/css players might be even better! we will see

Torqued and OI would be a way better choice than anexis. Quite frankly, I don't think anexis will ever be able to repeat the performance they did at madcatz.

these have some of the most unstable players on the scene, I'd rather pick Anexis who already proved they worked well as a team. Besides their performance at Mad Catz is not a surprise, they've been performing great for a while now

Don't really see fnatic only picking a few of them up as that would mean they would keep some players. Mainly you would expect fnatic to keep Friis as he's been performing well, but that would mean they have an awper and Nico is the awper from ex-Anexis, so that makes it a bit tricky. I think either entire ex-Anexis going to fnatic. But also moddii just posted on facebook he was going to CPH games. So I guess tonight we might get some exciting news !

Anexis such a good team right now, and they are improving. It's such a shame that **** fnatic will split them up. Would be great if fnatic will take all 5 ex-anexis players, I know Friis and Trace are stars, but it was in 1.6, now then can't show themselves.

Time for SK-Gaming to join the GO scene. They would get instasupport from the goodguy move supporting this team and would easily have a huge fanbase considering their history. Maybe RobbaN and such could give them some support, sharing some knowledge etc.

They are really coming together as a team. One of the solid organizations is going to pick them up and give them the support they need to take their game to the next level. I would actually view this as a good thing. Good on the Anexis boys to hold out for what they deserve! I will be streaming their match vs Virtus Pro coming up in a couple of hours. i will also have the other 2 VP games before and after! Tune in for the euro invite action!!! twitch.tv/santi___

Its funny that everyone doubts the change to fnatic because of Friis and trace. Lol as if they're gods, just solid nothing more. And the current ex-Anexis team is hugely better than the whole fnatic team including Friis and trace. fnaticRC = ex-Anexis most likely
