CHEF-KOCH returns in dotpiXels

Former ALTERNATE star David "CHEF-KOCH" Nagel has returned to activity by teaming up with dotpiXels.

The German veteran, 31, retired from gaming in 2011 after an impressive career which reached its peak in 2006, when he helped ALTERNATE aTTaX to beat Team 3D at the WSVG finals and win $50,000.

He has now decided to reverse his retirement decision by joining dotpiXels together with Marcel "rAx" Klenner, a former member of Hardware4u and Playing Ducks.

CHEF-KOCH to start playing CS:GO

The two new players will fill the void created by the departures of Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz and David "DavoN" Maislinge, who both grew frustrated at dotpiXel's inability to compete abroad on LAN.

The loss of Wodarz will certainly come as a heavy blow to dotpiXels as the German ace is currently eighth in our general CS:GO stats section, with an impressive 1.21 rating.

"At the beginning, everything was going well and everyone was highly motivated and committed to playing a lot," Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch told HLTV.org.

"But the motivation dropped after the internal announcement that we would not be able to attend Copenhagen Games.

"As a result, DavoN and tabseN deecided to leave, thinking that there would be no more progress in the team in the near future.

"We decided to pick up the former Alternate aTTax legend CHEF-KOCH, who surprisingly agreed to start a comeback in CS:GO, because we knew that we need an experienced player like him to lead our team and that is why we did not hesitate to add him.

"We also picked up rAx, a former EPS player from the 1.6 scene, since most of the players on our team have known him for a long time. His nice personality and great performances in our practice matches made us choose him.

"All in all, we are happy with our new lineup and we look forward to making an impact on the competitive scene."

dotpiXels currently lie in fourth position in EPS Spring 2013, with nine points from five matches. The team's upcoming match in the league will be against DRUCKWELLE eSports on Thursday, on de_mirage_go.

The German team's lineup is now the following:

Do you follow EPS Germany? esl.eu/de/pro-series/spring_2013/csgo/5o.. They are pretty good team. They need just to improve a bit some things

rAx did pretty well towards the end of 1.6. crisby was really good too. he was used as a stand-in by mouz on several occasions and played in a couple of top4 teams the last few eps seasons. dno how good they are in CS:GO though but i think most of the 1.6 skill translates over to GO, so shouldnt be a problem. only thing im wondering about is what LEGIJA is doing on that team.
