VG, Anexis, more at ESH Birmingham
Esports Heaven has announced the first batch of teams who will be in attendance at the event in Birmingham.
The British event will run from April 5th to 7th at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, as part of the Gadget Show Live, a major technology and consumer expo.
A total of £10,000 (approximately €11,500) will be given out in the CS:GO tournament, which will feature just 10 teams, six fewer than the Mad Catz event in Vienna last month.
Since ESH Birmingham will fall on the same dates as the SLTV StarSeries finals, teams like Ninjas in Pyjamas and Natus Vincere will not be able to attend the British event if they finish in the top four in the league.
However, a provisional participants' list released earlier on Monday showed that this will be an event to follow, as VeryGames will be looking for their first trophy abroad since switching to CS:GO.
Anexis and k1ck, both of whom have qualified for the RaidCall EMS One group stage, will also be in attendance, just like Joshua "steel" Nissan's Dignitas and George "Zed" Bear's Reason Gaming.
The last team of the six teams who were confirmed today is fm-eSports TOXiC, who have performed well online since adding Danni "smF" Dyg and Søren "socN" Falke.
The provisional participants' list for the British event looks as follows:

fm-eSports TOXiC |

Reason Gaming |

Meanwhile, it has been announced that just like the event in Vienna, the one in Birmingham will be sponsored by Mad Catz.
