We caught up with Marcus "Delpan" Larsson following Alchemists' elimination at Copenhagen Games, and picked the brain of the Swedish AWPer.

After being on the sidelines for almost nine months, the former fnatic and SK Gaming talent attended Copenhagen Games with a mix team who featured other experienced players like Emil "FYRR73" Karlsson and Alexander "rdl" Redl.

He ended up, however, enduring a disappointing debut in CS:GO, as Alchemists failed to qualify for the main tournament after losing to iRage and Lemondogs in the qualifier.

But will this be the end of Larsson's experience in CS:GO? Or will he decide to give the game a go, if a good offer comes along? Press play below to find out what the future lies for one of the top AWPers from 1.6.

mate,if someone can click people,that is delpan.So if he is not hitting those shots,LIKE 9 PEOPLE said before me,at this stage,from hours that he spent playing,and the way he spent those hours,he is not able to play better,and if someone have had raw skill,that was delpan.So please connect the dots,and stop posting nonsense.

Did you even watch him this event? Because he wasn't hitting shots, I am not talking nonsense at all, he missed so many sitters it was depressing. I'm sure he will be good soon, but I still expected him to be a lot better with his aim.

It's A HUUUUUGE difference for him to switch to the csgo awp from 1.6 awp so ofc he's still rusty with the awp, he still played well for like 100hours or something.

I wouldnt say this but CS: GO and 1.6 is "quite" a different story. Did anyone really, i mean really expect super worldclass play from Delpan at this point - then its a fine little piece of madness i can tell that human. I gonna rest my case on this one , nn to explain further. WP Delpan you had some great situations and also the other 4 alchemists guys did pretty good in general aswell i must say. Obviously as a team lacked much in chemestry/strats/timings etc - understandable as it comes with experience and grinding games. However GL HF in future but for now it was tough luck with a deciding lemondogs matchup.

I expected that given the fact he is one of the best 1.6 awpers ever, the fact that he has played the game enough to decide on attending a LAN event, his aim would be somewhat GOOD, not his positioning or teamplay, just his aim. After watching a few games I noticed his aim was absolutely dreadful. I guess I expected too much from one of the best 1.6 awpers?

Delpan is fine he knows that if he puts effort into it he will be a world-class player again in no time besides we all know that in CSGO so far he's been insane with the awp so the RAW skill is there... Delpan GL and don't worry its pretty damn obvious we'll be seeing offers coming up soon enough =)

Good interview, he has good English. I always thought he was slightly over-rated or inconsistent in 1.6, but when he was on-form and hitting his shots he was iNSANE. Hopefully he get's a decent team on GO and puts some pracc in

Delpans stream @CPH was really spectacular. He looks so calm in this interview if you compare it with his past English interviews. I'd like to see him playing for the top team pretty soon.
