NiP, Quantic and Na`Vi prevail at Cph
NiP has demolished Curse 2-0 (16-4, 16-2), Quantic Gaming has defeated Temp.no (16-9, 16-14) and Na`Vi has outlasted fnatic after a three map thriller (10-16, 16-6, 22-18) at Copenhagen Games.
NiP finished up their group stage run in Copenhagen with their most dominating win yet, suggesting they were probably holding back in their earlier 2-0 bouts versus EYES ON U and myRevenge.
This time it was, at least mostly, all business, as the Swedes completely annihilated the Finnish Curse squad, leaving fans wondering if they would ever see Curse play as well as they did at THOR Open versus NiP.

friberg's NiP continue dominant performances
Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg and company won eleven terrorist rounds on de_dust2_se and followed up that up with a five to nil counter-terrorist side, quickly putting themselves up one nothing in maps.
Second map, de_nuke_se, would prove to be even more dominant, as NiP completely demolished any hopes Curse might have had of taking a map from the Swedes, scoring 13 rounds as terrorists en route to a 16-2 win.
Natus Vincere struggled once again early on as they took on fnatic. Starting as counter-terrorists on de_mirage_go didn't allow the Ukrainians the kind of start they would have liked, as they found themselves trailing 4-11 at half.
fnatic lost their pistol round and their lead went to 11-7 in the second half, but good teamwork and a one-on-two AWP clutch by Michael "Friis" Jorgensen quickly made it 14-7.
Na`Vi won the next three rounds, but another clutch by Jorgensen, this time with his P2000 versus Sergey "starix" Ischuk, gave fnatic map point. They would only need one, as they won the following round and the map, 16-10.
With their backs against the wall, Na`Vi seemed to finally wakeup and had a solid defensive half, as they were able to score ten rounds, which for once gave them a lead heading into the second half.

Xyp9x's fnatic couldn't overcome Na`Vi this time
An inner attack gave Na`Vi pistol, and Danilo "Zeus" Teslenko's two AK47 kills made it 14-5. fnatic won one more round, but ultimately it was Natus Vincere who claimed a 16-6 win to force a third map.
Third map saw fnatic seize control once again, as they won the pistol round and kept winning rounds on both bombsites, with Martin "trace" Heldt getting a one-on-two to push his score to 10/0 as his team went up 7-0.
fnatic would match Heldt's score in their lead before Na`Vi won their first three, but overaggressive play allowed fnatic to win a two-on-four on the next round, giving them eleven in the first half.
Na`Vi won the first three as terrorists, but fnatic replied with two of their own to make it 13-7. Teslenko then out-smarted fnatic with a clever walk up strategy to top of A, giving them a win on a semi-buy round.
A couple of rounds later Teslenko then had a smart move in a two-on-three on top of the A bombsite, while his teammate Markelov won Na`Vi the round in a one-on-one, scoring his twenty-sixth kill of the map.
fnatic's four A setup was then surprised by Na`Vi's B attack, tying the game at thirteen. Na`Vi then kept abusing Andreas "MODDII" Fridh on the B bombsite, winning two more rounds as Fridh was unable to score a kill, making it 13-15.

Edward had some big rounds in overtime
Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev ran out of time on round twenty-nine, while Markelov couldn't connect on hislast bullet in the final round, and fnatic were able to force overtime.
Sukhariev made up for his mishap in round one, as he took over long A with four kills. Round two went to fnatic, but Na`Vi kept their lead by creeping up catwalk and winning the final round of the first overtime half.
The winner couldn't be determined in the first overtime, as Na`Vi were unable to close the map out despite two game points after the first round they won, with Heldt winning a key one-on-one on the third round.
fnatic wasn't at all prepared for what Na`Vi threw at them next, super aggressive CT paly, and the Ukrainians snagged a 3-0 lead. The Ukrainians kept abusing fnatic's weak B bombsite and finally won the game, 22-18 on de_dust2_se and 2-1 overall.
Quantic Gaming contrinued where they left off on de_train_se versus Temp.no, as they rallied to a very strong terrorist side performance once again, this time finishing with nine rounds.
The Norwegians attempted to get back into the game in the second half, but Spencer "hiko" Martin wouldn't allow it, as he helped his team clinch the required seven rounds for a 16-9 victory.

DaZeD's Quantic march on with a top seed
Jon "DaY" Thomas Rudstrom's squad played much better on de_dust2_se, where they executed a well planned terrorist side and escaped to an impressive 11-4 lead at half.
However, Quantic weren't going to give up that easily, as they quickly won the pistol round. Due to Copenhagen Games' issues we don't know what exactly happened in the second half, but Quantic Gaming went onto win 16-14, 2-0 overall.
NiP and Quantic Gaming both won their respective groups, while Na`Vi fall to third place due to the default map loss they received versus BX3, and will have to fight their way back from the lower bracket.
