Network problems wreck Cph Games

Copenhagen Games has been thrown into turmoil after network problems caused all matches to freeze.

A network crash right in the middle of the last round of group matches caused all games to shut down, wreaking havoc in the tournament as the fans are desperately waiting for the playoffs to commence.

After the network came back up, the tournament admins tried to restore order and reload the games through eBot. But since some server information had been overwritten and the admins had no direct control over the game servers, it has taken them some time to get matches running again.

The contest between Natus Vincere and fnatic is still going on, after which the draw for the playoffs will be made.

it's more than just the networks. blame it on whatever you want, ultimately it's the organizations obligation to run things smoothly.

oh wow, the years goes by so quickly. i thought it was last year but it was 2011 it was massive delays and the grand final was played at 5am :) but yea, that was like the most failed event in history and they're struggling quite badly now again it seems (im not really following the event to be honest, but i know TaZ among others were/are really upset at this event :)) i dont think it's a coincidence.

What do you know about that? Maybe they have a loop in the system or so, then it is their fault.
