Multiple big names out at 17-24th

Curse.EU, n!faculty, Cph Wolves, fm.TOXiC, EYES ON U and ALTERNATE have all been sent packing with 17-24th place finishes at Copenhagen Games.

Lower bracket has certainly seen some upsets already in the second round, with former Anexis Counter-Strike 1.6 team captain Danny "BERRY" Krüger's squad knocking out Curse.EU.

That is of course not all, as Temp.no has also ousted n!faculty while plan-B delivered the biggest upset, sending Copenhagen Wolves packing at a much weaker placing tan most expected.

ESC Gaming survived a 16-14 scare versus fm.TOXiC, while Curse.NA knocked out the weak German ALTERNATE squad with a 16-13 scoreline after a big 14-8 lead earlier on in de_inferno_se

That's not weird at all, since the lowerbracket has to keep up with the upperbracket, so that they minimize the time of delay.

having b03 in the lower bracket as well would probably cause delays. they did b03s for the first round of the lower bracket though.

No it is not. If you are in the lower bracket it means you are not at par with other teams. They are giving you one last chance to get your shit right. So one map sounds fair. In other tournaments there are no lower brackets. You are out means you are actually out. Pack your bags fellas.

What should be wrong with em ? They were never a good team. In their prime time they were mid team based on 2 random results from a past. Only lurpis always rated em higher.

every team temp.no have beaten at this tourney are apparently major onliners and under perform badly according to people. quite interesting. b01 wins: xapso, n!faculty b03 wins: heroic, alternate, fm.toxic I wonder who the next onliners will be.

alternate is a good team ,they always play well against top team but struggle against lower tier team , dunno why :/

ALTERNATE AT LAN. 0/3 In groups, loss in first playoff match. Same thing happened at mad catz, they were last in group and didn't make playoffs. When are people going to realize just how online that team is rofl? They destroy teams online but get crushed at LAN every time.
