Western Wolves rule fnatic out

The second lower bracket match in the sixth round is finally over with Western Wolves coming out on top (16-10 on de_dust2_se).

The match between Western Wolves and fnatic looked similar to the one between VeryGames and Quantic. This time it was Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's team to pick up a lead after winning the pistol round.

At 8-2 score, the match had to be paused due to Lasse "stingeR" Midtstue's computer crashing. After the pause which lasted over an hour and a half, fnatic seemed to have picked up the pieces and won three rounds of the five remaining to make the halftime score 10-5.

Trace's fnatic have to go home

The second pistol round did not exactly go as hoped for the Norse mixture. They were dealt with after the A bombsite plant by the former Anexis squad. Even after a gunround buy, fnatic were not able to clinch the much needed round.

A half-buy allowed fnatic to stay alive after being down 14-5. More and more rounds kept going in their way to get a momentum going, until Jacob "Pimp" Winneche won a 1v1 situation for his team. That was all Western Wolves needed to come back and finish the match in the next round.

Nope in most tournament one Bo3 match you go home, this is like a 2nd chance which in most tournaments you dont get one, its pretty fair.

It's not about second chance, i think it's about seeing which one of the competitors it's better, so that's way they should play BO3. It's like in tennis(men), playing 3/5 instead 2/3, it a better way to see who's better. I don't speak about the time they lose, delays, etc, that'a another discussion.

cant afford to have bo3, teams in lower bracket usually wait for teams from upper bracket so waiting 3 hours to play is not acceptable at least if you only got 2 days to finish the tournament

they dont have to prove anything to anyone one specially to that dumb CPH admins. Navi have set an example to the admins of that kind who are handing map losses to teams for pc problems and they did again with that russian team also.

They did not deserved more :( Fnatic only showed themselves as a functioning team on mirage if you ask me. Their t sides have been pretty weak in general.

Please explain how Na'Vi should have had the spot. If you can't show up on time for an event then you deserve to get penalized, just because they have a big following doesn't mean their exempt from the rules.

Did I say that NaVi should have had the spot? No, I didn't. They would have ended up in the lower bracket tho (in the beginning) if the admins would have actually used the rules they set before the tournament.
