Ghosty released from ASES
ASES e-Sports Club have announced that they have released Nicolas "Ghosty" Milyayev from their lineup with immediate effect.
The news comes as a major surprise as the Spanish team have just come off winning the EPS Spain title in Madrid after defeating OverGaming in a one-sided match.
According to a statement issued on ASES' website, internal problems led to this decision as Milyayev's team-mates "unanimously" decided to get rid of him.
To replace him, ASES turned to Aarón "PyRoX" Martín Olivares, a former CS:Source player who was last seen donning the colours of Tera-Gaming's Spanish team, who recently disbanded.
"We thought that the team needed some fresh air and motivation to try to demonstrate their potential in Europe," Vicens "Vis" González told ASES' website.
"For that, we believed that 'Ghosty' had to leave the team because lately we had not seen him as committed and motivated as some months ago.
"We would like to wish him the best and thank him for all that he gave us, especially the seriousness and competitivity that he demonstrated all this time.
"We hope that 'PyRoX' will not disappoint and we will give him the opportunity to demonstrate what great player he has always been, and what better way to do it than with us, since he knows us, he knows how we play, and we trust him?"
ASES finished at the foot of the ESEA Europe standings, with just two victories in 16 matches. The Spanish team's lineup is now the following:
Xavi "Aguila" Casals
Ruben "torpe" Gomez
Vicens "Vis" González
Miguel "drifking" García
Aarón "PyRoX" Martín Olivares
