Wizards raid ASES
Wizards e-Sports Club have announced that they have secured the services of ASES' CS:GO division.
Wizards had been without a CS:GO squad since releasing the team led by Aitor "SOKER" Fernández last month as a result of their disappointing results in online competitions and their lack of stability.
Two weeks have passed since then, and Wizards have now made a clear statement about their intentions by signing ASES, who won the national EPS title last month.
The news comes just days after the Spanish team decided to replace Nicolas "Ghosty" Milyayev with Aarón "PyRoX" Martín Olivares.
"We are very happy to join this organisation, we know what they are capable of since some of our players have represented them in the past, so this us not something unfamiliar," Ruben "torpe" Gomez told Wizards' website.
"With this organisation and the great support they have offered us, we want to consolidte our place in Europe, take a big step and represent Spain abroad.
"For this to happen, we will give 100 per cent, and Wizards will back us up 100 per cent."
Amongst the team's plans for the future are attending DreamHack Valencia in late July and i49 the following month.
Wizards' CS:GO division consists of the following players:
Xavi "Aguila" Casals
Ruben "torpe" Gomez
Vicens "Vis" González
Miguel "drifking" García
Aarón "PyRoX" Martín Olivares
