prb replaces MobY in Temp.no

Temp.no have decided to replace Thomas "MobY" Guttormsen with Preben "prb" Gammelsæter following a promising 9-12th place finish at Copenhagen Games.

Most didn't expect Temp.no to be much of a threat going into Copenhagen Games as their online results had been fairly average, but the Norwegians took down ALTERNATE, n!faculty and fm.TOXiC to finish 9-12th.

The team led by Thomas Jon "DaY" Rudstrøm suffered losses against Quantic Gaming, VeryGames and Western Wolves, and have now decided to change a player, hoping to improve even more.

prb returns to a Norwegian team

Gammelsæter was released from Anexis after a similar 9-12th place finish last weekend, and has now decided to join his fellow countrymen in Temp.no, replacing Guttormsen.

On the team's website they cited a need for a player change as a necessity to compete at the highest level. They also stated they know the change will have a positive effect on the squad.

Gl prb! Rumours from english friends are that prb left anexis becuase he couldnt take rattlesnake whine/raging at his own team mates and thus was NOT kicked which is what anexis/rattlensnake official statement states. Basically this just proves further that rattlesnake is just a bit of a cunt really...

How should i know? Your not in the team why should they tell u everyrhing? Rattle probably wanted to save face and not be humiliated that another player has left because they way he acts (ie stinger). Prb told norwegian players (friends,fans) that he left and couldnt take it anymore while not having fun. then he reads the oficial statement that hes been kicked due to bad comms which is funny as he speaks good english supposedly. If you think prb is lying, why am i not allowed to believe rattle/anexis are lying? Lawyered bitch

I didn't accuse you of lying, just saying you probably have a less of an insight to it that I do, I didn't hear the "story" from RattlesnK first, either. It's irrelevant either way, kicked/left makes no difference - he is gone. Hughsy is a far superior player regardless and it will be an improvement to the team.

Yes im sure the rest of anexis team told people at the lan they were having com issues...hard to believe they would tell people that when prb was still in the team and they werent knocked out yet. Still the fact remains that he left while the official statement was that he was replaced.

And before u reply with "doesnt matter now... hes gone" saying he was replaced due to bad comms when in reality he left the team due to his own reasons, shifts the blame of another bad performance onto prb and away from rattlesnake/rest of the anexis team. prb speaks flawless english and have never been "replaced" in the past that i know. something about the official anexis statement smeells fishy miles away, i really suspect there is some bad ambient inside this team. I heard nothing, but I just have to comment, because without reading anything I already suspect something like this

Thats what i suspect aswell. Feels like rattle and co are grasping at straws hoping not to loose the support from anexis(blaming it on prb) especially after ex-anexis ( WW) have done really well and the current side habe flopped to some extent (they were supposed to be nip beaters?)

I think moby played well at CPH, so that wasn´t expected at all. I expected that prb would get a role in this team but not to replace moby. May be something i don´t know about.

Moby was the worst player for temp at cpg?? Bottom fragged most games and NOTHING like his online self. Makes it pretty interesting when he got banned for "cheating" along with day but he never denied it like day did....then plays bad at lan and gets dropped. Busted?

Just to make it clear: We never believed Moby was cheating online, and it really never crossed our minds after the event either. Sometimes you just know what the team needs, and i believe Moby can be a great asset to whatever team picks him up in the future :)

seen this before, a team doing well and moby getting kicked out..I think he was a huge part of the reason for success on this team...prb is better skillwise i guess, i just don't think this makes the team stronger. gl!

Yeah he had a huge part of the online results they got. But if you just watched one match at cph games you would notice that his positioning and calls was just crazy. In my opinion he had not enough experience and at the end of the day, moby coundt fill the role as madfragger. I personally think this team if they gets the chemistry right, uses their time well and keep on improving their game i know this team will be a top4 candidate to the next event. However, things are what you want it to be. If you want to make it work, it will work. Negative attitude and atmosphere are critical at this point, so believing in the team and be positive. prb over moby anyday! EDIT: What i ment by online results is not like he was cheating. What i mean is that some people with lack of experience at lam will underperform against topteams. And some people are just more comfortable at home playing.

You might be correct. Personally I think prb is one of the best individuals in the Norwegian scene and it is of course exiting. I really miss the to watch NOR teams in the glory days of 1.6 so I hope this could be the team to follow. The team combination is promising, but I just think it's crazy to kick a player after a really good event just because prb is prb!

I know for a fact that they didnt replace him just because Anexis let him go. They knew that something had to change because their ambisions are higher than the placement they got. With prb, or any other experienced player in Norway could do a better job than moby did at cph games. And i think he fits better into their team.
