Video: device vs NiP

We bring you our second frag highlight of the RaidCall EMS One Summer Cup #1, and this time it is a stunning four-kill round from CPH Wolve's Nicolai "device" Reedtz.

After a dream weekend in which they won the Gaming.dk League Finals and The Blast #5's CS:GO tournament, the Danish team have proved that they are more than ready to challenge the top sides in Europe as we approach DreamHack Summer.

CPH Wolves defeated Western Wolves, Anexis, Absolute Legends and NiP before reaching the grand final, in which they defeated LDLC.com on two maps.

In this round, you see Reedtz stopping NiP's rush with the AWP as the Swedes were prepared to rush outside, winning a very important round for the Danes, who were up by just two rounds at the time.

Will throw in there that no one even played CS pracc back then was another Verygames saga but that's not my point. Just having a little laugh pointing out these guys have always had outstanding online results because of individual performances, not to say that they are onliners as they do fine at LAN (were they at last CPH?) just not anywhere near their online - still good results, and no I'm not inferring I'm better than these so it's not "same old UK". Give it some pracc though ;)

You have never come across as someone like this. Quite disappointing! What happens if they attend the next major LAN together and do really well? Will you apologise and shut your mouth? Why the hate? Why not practise and get to that level yourselves? Or is this you being frustrated at practising but not getting the results you expected? What you guys going to do now that you have no excuses regarding exams etc? You know Danish teams have always been pretty good and WW were performing well on LAN until recently. Why can't a more experienced Danish team out do WW and beat NIP? Also don't forget that most top teams have been on holiday (probably even you lot despite what I said above) and CPHW have been playing a lot over the past few weeks online and at LAN.... Grow a pair u pussy

If only that were me for the sake of this argument, but you couldn't be more wrong. My general message was just dont be a c*nt, it doesnt suit you and focus on your own game and get good as a team already. Don't hate on teams for being better, those guys have been playing versions of CS for yonks, just coz they are putting in the time whilst others are taking breaks and are therefore having some success doesn't mean you should question or belittle it. And of course you were disrespectful, even in your comment saying you weren't disrespectful - you were disrespectful! And what the hell have the UK done in CSGO for you to even comment on another team? Just congratulate them and look to better their achievements instead of just proving everyone correct when they talk about how UK scene is dominated by shit arseholes who are full of themselves - because im pretty sure that's not what you're about. gl this year

Not being a cunt at all actually, I don't see why you type all of that and then put good luck as if it's meant to have a reverse effect? Lost complete interest now but I think I've made it clear that I'm not trying to be disrespectful, if you want to take a different analysis then so be it.

if anyone's typing now to have reverse effect it's you mate. You were being an idiot, you know it, I know it, so does everyone who raged or typed shit at you. Now you are taking it all back and saying you didn't mean to be disrespectful. Oh ok then. You were just making a valid point about their inability to perform on LAN by laughing at their results and posting same old c u soon.....why not just realise you were being a nob and apologise or just walk away instead of defending that retarded post? As for the GL. I was pointing out that you were being a nob. Doesn't mean I don't think you are a good player and I don't wish you well and you are forever a nob in the rest of your life! I know this is the internet but we don't have to be kids about it. You were just a nob with that post and disrespected a team that didn't deserve it and who people like because they are actually trying to make the game interesting by beating the team that barely any others can. GL THIS YEAR U NOB. YOU HAVE A GOOD TEAM. DO SOMETHING WITH IT.

Why the bandwagon? I wasn't even disrespectful just stated, mainly from source because I haven't followed any other scenes than the UKs, that players in CPH are great players just tend to perform better online. I didn't say there were shit in LAN or anything lol.

"missed because joe wasnt on auto director in that round.." Autodirector works just fine if there's at least a minute delay on the relay. It fails when there's not the delay for it to analyse where the frags are coming from, or if the game has finished.

idiot. They have just been on LAN, where they all played well. The reason why WW and fnatic got so close to winning at some points, is because they know CPHW so well online and offline. They all know the gamestyle of Fetish. If you notice, he has very simple setups (for now) - Dupreeh told in an interview on gaming.dk that they need to step that part of the game up to counter the predictability.

Listen up shitface. I couldn't really be bothered taking up this discussion with an ignorant pole , who obviously don't know shit about this team or the players but now you have poked the bear, muddafucka. I don't judge you for not knowing. I can assure you that they most explicitly don't use any third part program. They are not onliners, as all of them have won LANS (cajun, wantz, FeTish - have won many. To mention just some - Dreamhack, TeX and finishing 2nd @ ESWC. Have you seen the individual achievements these guys have? Wantz have been nominated twice as MVP @ ESWC, and he finished 2nd behind NBK. The same story at Copenhagen Games. This team is so capable that it would slice your ignorant cock off. They are not better than Nip, yet. Time will show you my European friend. "Let the refining and improving of your own life keep you so busy that you have little time to criticize others." ~ H. Jackson Brown, jr.

Just because they are good on LAN does not mean they don't "enhance" online. Honestly wantz is extremely iffy online (always spamming random spots, and glancing at players through walls), plays much different on LAN.

omg sounds like you have never seen them play, nothing iffy about what they do. They clearly improved alot of teamwork since CPHG and proberbly also learned a thing or two about NiP, and with device on the team they play really well. No wonder they won against a NiP that just came back from vacation. The only thing they would gain by cheating online is putting more pressure on themselves when they reach lan AGAIN, and why would they do that?, why not stay as underdogs that nobody prepares for?

I almost choke inside over all the people say they cheat. What you all fail to realise is this team was the topteam in CS:S and that above VG too. Then they stopped or some players retired and now they came back being in CS:GO with two players that always have been upcomers and device have played vs lots of top players before. Oh yeah, they just won theblast lan + gaming s6 league on LAN. Fully deserved and no cheats involved whatsoever. Great fucking job Wolves.

if he sits in the middle hes probably calling but that even worse if you ask me ahahahah. from this 5man roster the fitter would be trace. he plays as a back up player, has experience and has played with ave who was maybe the best caller from 1.6 along with carn, zeus and gob b.

not to start a flmae war here, but i dont even follow cs:go, just clicked to see this clip.. and first thing that came to my mind was wallhack after i saw the f0rest kill. Now i dont know if this is hltv lag, or if this is even hltv but i hope it is. Cuz no effin way he would know to prefire exactly there. The second kill is possible.

Inner can hear when people get boosted or jump on to yellow. Just normal info from his teammates and if not - a normal spot for a player to be in when preassuring yard.

its the angle he peeked it, and the reaction time is godly, it seemed like prefire. Usually an awper will peak that at a greater angle, to see more to the right side of rock. The way he peeked it he risked not seeing an the enemy if he was a bit further right.. which would probably get him killed. W.e i dont know this player, and every once in a while everyone makes nice plays i guess. Still the clip looks fishy.

He is basicly the biggest aim-talent in Denmark and have proven this on LAN many times. There's nothing fishy about it. If you saw GTR do this you wouldn't even question it.

Doesn't look that dodgy of a kill when you think about it, f0rest know's he is there, so device scopes quickly as he has heard a call ( and f0rest is moving so he could have heard him ). As he is scoping he is strafing round, he then kills him. It would have been dodgy if he scoped to his location and then strafed out after with his cross hair all ready on him, you can clearly see he still had to react.

I don't think its the fact that NiP had someone up there every round, it is the fact of HOW he peaked it, basically if he peaked it how a normal AWPer on LAN would f0rest would have had the angle and might of made the kill, he peaked shallow to give him an advantage which is just strange.

That's exactly what a good awper will never do; peak too far. Even the best awpers miss shots and "selling yourself" is absolutely out of the question. If you miss the shot against a player like f0rest you either get the fuck out of the way fast or get killed. Seems clear to me devi knew there was someone on the rock, or at least thought so with high certainty. After killing 2 near the boxes it was pretty obvious f0rest would open the angle to catwalk to kill him, making him run to the left side of the rock (from "camera" pov). Devi didn't peek further cause he also had to watch the ground too there. In short: devi took down 2, f0rest pushed to kill him and devi expected that

Everyone knows f0rest goes on Sylo/RedRock/Yellow/White on default rounds. Standard place to look for the 3rd kill if you got 2 outside already. Plus could of being called that he was jumping by the inside guys.

people didn't care about CSS because it was irrelevant. The fact that their are some talented players is to be expected. This does not change the fact that most of this community will wait to see how CPHWolves does at an international LAN IN CSGO before passing judgement. This is common practice for any team that performs as they have online. Beating WW (a falling apart lineup) and a hot and cold fnatic on LAN is meaningless in the communities eyes. If they can beat VG / VP / NiP etc on LAN they will get respect.

Well, as I have pointed out several times here on this forum. This is all subjective. I have a very clear perception of how many Source players followed the 1.6 team. I myself followed the 1.6 scene a lot. In 10 source players, there will be more saucers knowing a lot about the 1.6 scene whereas in 10 1.6'ers there's not a lot knowing of the CSS-scene. If anyone beg to differ, speak out.

No, i didn't follow the scene at that point as i drifted into the world of warcraft. Sure some idiots post crap all the time, but why would you ever jump down to their low level? They learn nothing by you writing the same crap they started. This community is self destructing. We already struggle with sponsorships, and tbh if i had a company i would look for another game to sponsor people in. This scene is too damn childish.

1 thing to say DHS is near and NiP will be crowned champions with VG second place again. so i doubt they will play like this on lan(and dont say they beat WW and fnatic on lan as they first had 2 ringers and the second they have MODDII as an igl JESUS!!)

If they continue to grow they will give NiP and VIRTUS.PRO a real hard time in Jönköping. I'm not nessecarily implying, the Wolves will win DreamHack Summer but I'm guessing a realistic top two. It all comes down to practice. Wolves are practicing a whole lot and NiP just came back from a break.

generally we should take the past 2 lan events that wolves played for granted. fnatic's caller is moddii and that is a joke really, if you are from 1.6 you would understand. and WW had 1 trial and 1 ringer as i said at the previous post. If they can transfer this online play on lan tours then we could be easily watching the best team right now. but i dont think it will happen against virtus, nip and vg.

its nice to see you back mate. It's so funny you have all these haters just because you're a beast. CSGO LAN performances HKLan - 2nd place(much weaker team) and you shot 100 in three games. Copenhagen Games you had 129kills after four maps TheBlast you shot an average of ~18 a map. And noobs keep whining? Mad cuz bad. He's a top four aimer in the world.. Whether it being the awp or riffles - purr talents in and out the game :D

Not talking about individual performances, I am talking about CPHW as a team. They have not done anything in GO yet so stop talking like they are the #1 team after 2 local lans and an Online victory.

Not sure why so many are calling cheats. With his frags, there is nothing fishy about any of the kills. 1st frag, nothing. 2nd, nothing. 3rd, everyone knows he goes there. 4th, "oh hey i see you!" NiP are just playing sloppy, considering that they've been on holiday. Fifflaren sucked as usual, and their aim wasn't their best. I'd also consider nuke one of the CPH wolves' stronger maps, just like in CSS.

1.6 vs Source, as if the former ones are Super Saiyans. Sick action, fair play that.
