cArn: fnatic to change players

fnatic Chief Gaming Officer Patrik "cArn" Sättermon has revealed that the organisation's CS:GO team will undergo further lineup changes.

The Denmark-based team were last week seen in action at The Blast #5, where they placed second in the LAN's CS:GO tournament and third in the Gaming.dk finals.

With the apparent breakup of Western Wolves in the aftermath of the event, the team's players were immediately linked with fnatic, who have undergone multiple roster changes since switching to CS:GO with hopes of clinching international silverware.

Wolves stressed earlier on Sunday that their highly-successful Danish team will stick together, after all, but Sättermon has posted on Twitter that changes are in the pipeline for his team.

fnatic are due to play against dAT Team in SLTV StarSeries VI on Monday at 19:00 , so it is expected that the new lineup will be revealed by then. fnatic will also tackle Virtus.pro tomorrow, at 20:00 .

The team's lineup currently consists of:

why change a winning formula. plus that would(like the other comments said)fade away quickly, since friberg is really amazing it would be doubtfull to let him loose from the team, fiff is questionable...He's good sometimes and completely fails the other time(mostly this) but I dont think moddi or delpan got what it takes to be apart of NiP someone else tho. its dumb never the less maybe if they just grew up and delt with the tough times! you can't have a good team when your swapping and changing every 3 months. Good teams are made by knowing eachother and sticking through when players are not performing! not everyone is gonna be on form every game. Trying to pick up the best players in denmark and then wondering why you aint winning. Get 5 and stick with it otherwise you will never do anything.. look at the top teams now. NIP and VP how many changes have they had? through 1.6 if i remember ESC and na'vi didnt change that much when they went to the top of the scene? (i wasnt a massive follower of 1.6 sorry of those facts are off)

ye solid 5! like they need to fix it i guess because every 3 months changing obviously isnt working but i guess they will keep doing it until they realise. throughout history consistancy has came to the teams with least changes. Fnatic wont get to where they want to get when changing up every couple of months. maybe carn should just start again release trace or friis not sure about trace because he has been sick but currently it isnt working obviously.

Why do you want to change Friberg for moddii? Friberg is easily one of the best players NiP have, and is far better then MODDII. Delpan > Fifflaren yes, but NiP wont change roster, and also Robin is a nice guy. I think thats the main reason they haven't changed him out yet.

What we know about the histories of esl and vakarm, that when Western Wolves fell apart, nico and gla1ve joined to fnatic, meanwhile MODDII and stingeR left the team. BUT you cant rejoin to a team for 5 days after a quit, so I think doesnt matter that MODDII left. Anyway I have to quote carn's blog: "I'm currently residing with dsn for a few weeks time, and I will try to conduct a video interview with this CS legend within the next days."

Yes, it's true. MODDII, alongside stingeR, left only because it seemed like fnatic wanted to go all-danish. Now that the Western Wolves have been confirmed to stick to their old lineup, MODDII leaving is just an artefact of what was supposed to happen and I don't think fnatic has any ESL matches in the coming days that MODDII is unable to rejoin on there (except maybe for the next EMS Cup...). It's quite obvious that karrigan is joining the team for stingeR. Especially considering how promising Friis' rifling looked compared to his AWPing. So karrigan will most likely step in as their main AWP, or as the IGL and secondary AWP, as the main problem with Friis' AWP was his inconsistency. So karrigan will take the big green into his hands on days Friis just doesn't feel like it. We will have to wait for today's matches I guess.
