FalleN joins ProGaming.TD

Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo has confirmed via Facebook that he has joined ProGaming.TD.

The Brazilian AWPer had been without a team since the disbandment of playArt earlier in the week, with Lincoln "fnx" Lau, Vito "kNg" Giuseppe and Fernando "fer" Alvarenga having already found a new project in Afterall Gaming.

The question on everyone's lips was whether Toledo would join another team or follow in the footsteps of Bruno "bit" Lima and retire from the game.

FalleN links up with ProGaming.TD

Toledo has now announced that he has linked up with ProGaming.TD, the only Brazilian team to have attended international events in CS:GO so far, replacing Arthur "prd" Resende, who had joined the team just two weeks ago.

ProGaming.TD now have the following lineup:

Brazil Lucas "Steel" Lopes
Brazil Caio "zqk" Fonseca
Brazil Caio "rkz" Sinigagli
Brazil Rafael "zakk" Fernandes
Brazil Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo

You ask who wants to play GO over 1.6 all day, while there are +30k players doing it everyday, and you're not being biased. Ok then, anything you say dude.

Well to be frank you're making it sound like 30K is a lot. On the other hand, I said who would wanna play GO over 1.6, not who would wanna play GO. Pretty sure if you ask the professional community which they would rather play, at least 80% to 90% would say 1.6. Then again, you think CS:GO is a good game or something, not sure why im bothering really.

30k is as much as active 1.6 and Source players go right now, so yeah, in the CS franchise and in the FPS scene, thats a lot. Now stop contradicting yourself. You asked who would rather play GO than 1.6, and I answered: 30k players, at the very least. And btw, the whole competitive scene is playing GO if you didn't notice.

The competitive scene plays where the money is at, not where the fun is. And that fun factor is the reason this game is dead and has no future. Please enlighten me on where I contradicted myself. Willing to bet you money if I put up a 1.6 vs GO poll here on hltv I'd be buying myself free beer tmrw.

Now you're talking about fun, you said "Who rather play GO over 1.6", didn't mention the reason. Still, if you can't get over that there are a lot of people having more fun playin CSGO than playing 1.6, then I guess is time to stop posting.

But there aren't more people having fun playing GO over 1.6. 1.6 Has a larger player base till this day. Nice fail though. store.steampowered.com/stats/ Once I again I reiterate why I even bother replying to you. Stupid hoob.

Lol, you just said that 30k wasn't anything, but right now the difference between all Counter Strike games is 4k active players, and the one on top varies wildly during the peak times. Talk about being biased!

steamgraph.net/index.php?action=graph&ap.. Around 30k peak on CSGO, CS:S and CS1.6, every day. You'll also notice that CS1.6 playerbase is getting lower and lower since CSGO launch, and you should take into consideration that 1.6 is more than ten years old, while CSGO is barely 1 year old. Check that peak of 53k too, thats free weekend. Notice that during the free weekend 1.6 players didn't take a big hit. Now you think about what it means.

Clearly 1.6's and css' curve are decreasing while csgo's curve is increasing. More and more people are starting to see that there's not point playing dead games anymore, and csgo has become quite good so why not give it a try?

"You'll also notice that CS1.6 playerbase is getting lower and lower since CSGO launch," Wrong, it's decreasing since the linux updates that fucked up with the game of thousands of people. steamgraph.net/index.php?action=graph&js.. You can see an increase of 10k players in 1.6 since the release of CSGO and a sudden decrease of 15 to 20k players after the linux updates, and since then the numbers are just falling down.

So you think that the update that happened 4 months ago is still making people leave 1.6? And that one update made 20k people leave the game? Or did the lack of support of 1.6 on major tournaments took its toll? Or maybe the fact that GO got really good after the last major recoil update, and the game is getting popular as people get to know it?

Did you try 1.6 right after the linux updates? yes, it made the game "unplayable", that update was surely the reason for the 20k drop of numbers. But yes, the lack of support of 1.6 on tournaments is probably the reason for its drop after the linux updates 'till now. But don't get the illusion that those players that left 1.6 did so to start playing GO, cuz if you look at the graph again you'll see that GO's numbers were "stagnant" for some months(including after 1.6's linux updates) until the free weekend.

Whats going on with the brazillian cs:go scene? I see they have these CS:GO teams, but aint attending anything. Is it cause of lack of sponsors or something or they never get invites or something? :0 That'd be cool to see a brazillian team at an event already...

I would really like to see a proper answer to the first question. I don't know where did the articles on CS:GO subjects went. Cadreds main man Lewis stopped writing about the scene and now there is noone else writing stuff. I would really like to see HLTV do some opinion articles. Anyway I would really like to see more written on the stance of scenes lie Brazil, NA, Australia and Asia.
