3DMAX release CS:GO squad

3DMAX have announced via their website that they have dispensed with the services of their CS:GO division.

Back in April, 3DMAX decided to go local and support a French team after their Slovakia-based squad, led by Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács, had fallen apart.

But the new team, who were coached by Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavini, never managed to reach the heights the organisation expected them to, with the lack of convincing results leading to the departure of Joey "fxy0" Schlosser last month.

GMX & co released by 3DMAX

The French team had qualified for the Masters Français du Jeu Vidéo (MFJV) finals at the end of the month, but their future is now in jeopardy after 3DMAX decided to part ways with the players.

"It is with great disappointment that this chapter is over," 3DMAX chief Jean "SAM7" Moral said.

"It became difficult to continue supporting a team that no longer was one and in whom we had lost confidence.

"The future of CS:GO is not over for us, and we want to invest again in a new project."

Contacted by HLTV.org, 3DMAX stated that they are no longer interested in having a France-based team, so they will be looking abroad for a new squad.

3DMAX had the following lineup:

Benjamin "skall" Akiaya
Kévin "L0rdZz" Pascal

I don't think so. I know 3DMAX got some cash, but not enough for what moddi etc actually wants (salary etc, which again was one of the reasons they left epsilon).

ex-Epsilon earned salary from Epsilon.. Devilwalk stated that on his stream.. he didn't say how much though

Less and less tournaments and events, more and more organizations releasing CSGO squads. The game is on the verge of fading out like 1.6 did. Too bad valve is so occupied with its efforts to rival Dota2 with LoL that it forgot about its fps wing.

CSGO is dying? Yeah, we lost ESC, VP and Na'Vi. That doesn't mean it's dead. Changes were needed anyway becouse allmost all of the good teams from 1.6 are not so good in csgo. And stop saying it sucks. Just becouse you played 1 game for 12 years that doesn't mean that all other games are crap.
