Dignitas release CS:GO squad

Dignitas have announced on their website that they have dispensed with the services of their CS:GO division.

After having a long-standing tradition in 1.6 and CS:Source, Dignitas ventured into CS:GO back in March by picking up the team known as Torqued, who featured former mTw captain Joshua "steel" Nissan.

But the team took some time to hit it off, and eventually endeed up losing Nissan and George "hudzG" Hoskins, two of their core members.

Things seemed to be going their way following a second-place finish at EPIC Lan 11 last month, but when Henry "HenryG" Greer revealed he would not be able to attend i49 later this month, Tom "vertiGo" Rockliffe, Som "som" Haddow and James "PEZ" Perrott decided to join fm.TOXiC, leading to the disbandment of the team.

Meanwhile, Dignitas added that it is currently assessing its options and that it may take a new team under its wings soon.

Following the disbandment of Dignitas' team, the following players are currently free agents:

Henry "HenryG" Greer
Benjamin "BenkofK" Pratt

HenryG was the best player of Dignitas anyway, doesnt deserve it to play with average players like som etc

They dont even practice or play... what if they were putting in the time playing 4-5 hours a day 4-5days a week itd be different..cant judge a team that doesnt play ^^

I hope the team ended because the players where leaving for TOXIC, it would be sad if dignitas kicked them due to performance and results.

More and more organizations are releasing there CSGO squads for some reasons, fjew of them are bad results, small community and low prize money. So there is a chance that CSGO will end like CSS, tournaments will drop, teams disband or switch back to the game which they really like and has bigger community. Unless, VALVE steps in and starts listening to community for which changes should be made for this game to survive. P.S. I really miss the IEM events :(
