Xtreme Mind Gaming (myXMG) have announced that they have secured the services of TeamCRG's CS:GO squad.

The British team raised eyebrows back in July when they came out on top of EPIC LAN #11, defeating Dignitas 16-5 in the final to pick up the grand prize of £750.

It was a convincing campaign from a side who feature players like Luke "Kritikal" Green, one of the most experienced names in the UK scene, and George "ZED" Bear, formerly of fm-eSports TOXiC and Reason Gaming.

Due to work commitments, however, the team were unable to attend the last iseries event, which was won by the new fm.TOXiC squad.

With a view to attending more events and perhaps even competing abroad, the players have now decided to try their luck in myXMG, whose Polish CS:GO division was sent to Prague Challenge during the summer.

"We had a great time in TeamCRG while it lasted, winning Epic.LAN 11, but we decided to make a change of organisation to attend more high profile events, which has always been our goal to play against all of the top EU teams and compete with them," Bear said.

"I'd like to thank TeamCRG for having us and being such a great home but this was really needed for us to develop into a better team. We are all very excited to begin our partnership with myXMG and hope that it's a lengthy and successful one.

"We will be competing in the upcoming Raidcall EMS cups to try and qualify for the group stages, in the near future we are also hoping to qualify for either ESWC or DreamHack Winter which will be great events to attend!

"We will be practicing both online and at bootcamps in order to be as prepared as possible for the upcoming events, to show that this team can do damage on a EU level, which I know it can."
