Linum Tigers pick up Croatia EC lineup

A new team consisting of core members of Croatia's European Championship lineup has been formed under the German organisation Linum Tigers.

Croatia was put amongst the teams who had to go through both qualification rounds to make it into the group stage of European Championship.

Thanks to beating Montenegro 2-0 in the first qualification round, they were assigned another task in the form of Italy, who ended up besting Croatia on three maps.

Though that journey ended for the Croatian selection, the core went on to create a new team under the tag Linum Tigers and only replaced one member with Radovan "Gimmick" Abramović.

Following our ESEC adventure which ended up pretty early, we agreed to keep the foundation from the national team lineup, building up a lineup that could possibly do well if we invested enough time.

The only mystery was who should we pick for our 5th player and we managed to find Gimmick to finish the roster. The reason behind that lies in his experience, we felt that his ingame leadership could help us creating a synergy between older Counter Strike versions and transmit it to GO.

It's still unknown where will we be competing next, but with a decent backing from our new organisation, we hope to attend as many events as possible

After being acquired by a new organisation, the team hopes to attend more international tournaments and events in the future.

cause they can get a better organisation? and they didnt even ask for that organisation LOL. If they dont want to present that orga they simply wont pick them up. And does that really look to you like an organisation? free website + fake sponsors(1 orga cant have 2 sponsors of same kind for example zowie and steelseries). And companys like steelseries, benq, zowie will never support an organisation without any results. THATS THE FACT.

well ive been playing with 3 players from bosnia and 1 from serbia and team-mia.org/ sponsored us. Btw with real sponsors and normal website. But we arent playing together anymore so.

thats really great, I like to see balkan cs:go teams getting an org and start playing at the scene, but also I dont like to see some kids trashing them at their beginning.You know what i mean?

Not to be "that guy", but I highly doubt this team will be even top200. Maybe because of their sponsor, meaning they can actually go to events but I doubt they will ever do any damage. There are probably scandinavian/french/german mixes that could beat these guys. Unfortunately, there aren't enough sponsors to give them the same opportunity. I'm not a hater, just a realist. I wish these guys all the best, though. Would be awesome to see a top team from Croatia!
