Falood Jacksons to MSI Beat it!

Falood Jacksons are through to MSI Beat it! after defeating Team RvN 2-0 (16-9 de_mirage_ce, 16-2 de_train_se) in today's grand final of the Middle East qualifier.

Twelve teams have taken part in the Middle East qualifier for MSI Beat it!, which started in mid September with the first two playoff rounds, which were played in a best of one.

Falood Jackson had the upper hand against LASTRESORT in the semi-final, while Team RvN defeated We Ride Camels, who ended up on the third place, earning €1,000.

The two teams then battled for the only spot in MSI Beat it! and it was a very one-sided match. Falood Jacksons showed their strenghts on de_mirage_ce and continued to dominate on de_train_se to take the main prize of €3,000 home and qualify for the event in Beijing.

Final standings:

1. Falood Jacksons - €3,000 + qualified for MSI Beat it!
2. Team RvN - €2,000
3. We Ride Camels - €1,000

There are already 3 Euro teams... Regarding why 3 Southeast Asian teams, well, why not? Especially if these haven't many chances to get together with some of the top teams due to being from so distant places, geographically speaking.

That wasn't the aim of this event, the aim was to show that Counter Strike is still "global" it was also a way for teams from other countries who simply cannot afford to attend major LANs a way to showcase their talent against some of the better sides which is what I agree with, we need these kind of events.
