Na`Vi beat US in triple overtime

Natus Vincere have begun their campaign at RaidCall EMS One Fall 2013 Finals by defeating Universal Soldiers in their opening match on de_dust2 in triple overtime with a 31-28 score.

Universal Soldiers went for a delayed middle push on their counter-terrorist pistol round, but Na`Vi shut them down within seconds as they jumped to a three-to-nothing lead.

The Ukrainians continued their strong performance as they won five more straight rounds to go up 8-0 before the Poles could reply, led by Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas and Jarosław "pasha" Jarząbkowski.

Na`Vi had to surrender in the following round as well, but successfully executed a mid-to-B split, forcing US on a save round and extending their lead to 11-2.

The Wojtas Jarząbkowski duo combined for four kills again to win US their third round, and Paweł "byali" Bieliński's triple denied Sergey "starix" Ischuk in the final round to make it 4-11.

starix played really well for Na`Vi in the triple overtime battle

US had a strong start to their terrorist side as well, going up 3-0 with Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski clutching an impressive on-on-three amidst a smoke two rounds later to make it 12-9.

Na`Vi won the next round after a B retake, but lost the one after with their economy down the drain and wound themselves only up two at 13-11. US then tied the game with another gun round win, followed up by a Ukrainian save round.

Danilo "Zeus" Teslenko's team grabbed a brief 14-13 lead, but lost the following round and had to save, giving US game point before Teslenko and company could recover on a weak buy and force overtime.

The first overtime didn't settle the battle between these two Eastern European giants as each team scored three rounds as terrorists, sending the game to a second overtime.

Second overtime couldn't settle the battle either despite Anton "kibaken" Kolesnikov, Pogorzelski and Wojtas all putting in three frag rounds, but Natus Vincere finally prevailed in overtime number three at 31-28.

Fuckin' seized, man. I've seen this guy back in the 1.6 days. He's grown so much as a player, imo the key factor in those opening rushes. Great play overall by both teams.

Well starix and seized ended up with 60kills both I think? But it really was played really well by both teams though I hate pasha getting desperate and using autosniper every round in the last overtime. Also check #37

Yeah, I agree so much with this one about pasha. He kinda freaked out there, he was playing so well until that very point. Hopefully he fixes that anxiety for the next matches.

Well, I also know kibaken back from the 1.6 days, and just as seized they were considered high skilled players without great teamwork and were outclassed by other young upcoming talents such as MNR. If they were considered by players like Zeus and starix to fill the roster, it is because they improved so much in like 3/4 years that they just deserve it. Anyone who didn't see this coming when they got signed is just blind. If a top team would of sign them back in 2010, I'd agree tho.

Played great no doubt, but a vast majority of his CT frags were because US suffered from braindamage and refused to check B corners when they rushed into the site.

What overtime finally came in to? Autosniper battle. 1st overtime wasn't anything special mostly awps and rifles. 2nd overtime US closed the first half with autosniper win from snax(?) and then Na`Vi used it against them aswell and brought it to 3rd. 3rd overtime was basically pasha being desperate and autosniping every round but Na`Vi raped them in the end. then in the end zeus used the autosniper. Still, you can't deny US had a great comeback and before the autosnipers were broken out, it was a really exciting back-and-forth between both teams, as well as great play from players like starix and byali.

If you can't read then well... I said Na`Vi used it against them. But it was mostly used by US and I think if they wouldn't have bought it once we also wouldn't have seen it at all! Edit: Also I know sure it was great comeback but it came down to clutch rounds and as Mr.C said it's not balanced map, T favoured!
