Universal Soldiers have avoided elimination by defeating mousesports 16-11 (6-9, 10-2) on de_inferno at RaidCall EMS One Fall 2013 Finals.

Both squads were in a must-win situation after losing their opening matches against Natus Vincere and Ninjas in Pyjamas, with the winner getting a second chance tomorrow.

mousesports chose to begin as counter-terrorists on de_inferno and put up a solid 9-6 defensive half, led by Chris "chrisJ" de Jong's AWPing, as they looked to stay alive in the tournament.

NEO's Universal Soldiers march on at RC EMS One

Second half started with Filip "NEO" Kubski's Universal Soldiers winning the pistol round, and quickly tying the game at nine rounds a piece. From then US crept away, with Kubski leading the way.

mouz couldn't answer US' play in the second half, and Kubski's M4A4 triple kill, followed by a knife kill round after gave the Poles game point, which they used to clinch a convincing 16-11 win.

still ace-ing US with awp :) I think both teams played really unconsistently, all the players. Let's hope today US is going to take all their stuff together and put some good performance. Anyways, in a good shape, mouz can do some damage later on :)

The Problem I saw in this Match was that the Crowd pushed the emotions of mouz so hard that they did badly thought things and offensive moves as ct which got punished from US and were keyrounds. ask those mouzplayers and they would agree I am right. US isn't better than mouz, not individually and not teamwise, but it resulted in that final score because mouz made to many mistakes pushed by the homeatmosphere. Chris J made a awp 4k that one round. this hasn't anything to do with onlinerqualities. he is a very skilled sniper off and on.
