[POD]Cast #18 talks DreamHack

The guys in charge of the Counter-Strike podcast [POD]Cast have released another episode of their show with a heavy focus on DreamHack Winter.

To start the nearly two-hours long show, the trio of Duncan "Thorin" Shields, Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen and Patrik "cArn" Sättermon first discuss Andreas "MODDII" Fridh's latest removal from fnatic.

After some more discussion regarding team building, leadership and other related topics, the talk shifts over to the main topic of the week, DreamHack Winter's $250,000 tournament.

First the crew previews each of the group before shifting over to the playoffs and potential match-ups. The show ends with a long discussion of a possibly NiP versus VeryGames grand final.

Couldn't make out what Thorin let slip at the end about what special thing that will be going on Saturday morning? Good episode though lost of interesting opinions shared, hopefully you guys will get a chance to record something at dreamhack or shortly after.

I like that Thoorin brought up two big factors as of why NiP started loosing. I've been saying for a couple of months now that the two main reasons for NiP loosing is: 1. VG beat them at their own game. They read the shit out of NiP. 2. All the hype around. The documentary, NiP burger, gaming house etc etc. Theese two things combined will make ANY team underperform and I think Thorin is spot on there.
