coL ease past n!faculty
compLexity are just one step away from the DreamHack Winter 2013 playoffs following a 16-5 thrashing of n!faculty in their opening match.
With iBUYPOWER already out of the tournament, the United States’ hopes relied on compLexity, who knew they would need to be at their very best to survive what could easily be described as a very tricky group.
Against what could be considered a new team (created little over two weeks ago), coL gave a great account of themselves here and proved that their chances in this tournament cannot be written off.
The initial stages of the first half were a very close affair, with neither side being able to stamp their authority on the game. But as the game wore on, n!faculty's defence began to capitulate, allowing coL to go into the second half with a commanding 10-5 lead.

Now on the Terrorist side, compLexity went for a straight A rush in the pistol round but were stunned by n!faculty's grenades. Even though most of their players were very low on HP, the American side still managed to plant the bomb and defend the site to win the round.
After two very close anti-eco rounds that could have gone either way (especially the first one, which came down to a 1-on-1 situation), coL continued in the driving seat, powered by Spencer "Hiko" Martin's impressive display, and went on to win the match 16-5 to set up a thrilling encounter with VeryGames.
