reflex leaves ENCE; joins minttu

Timo "reflex" Rintala decided to step down from ENCE eSports lineup to join minttu with Jesse "KHRN" Grandell.

ENCE eSports have been changing players since early February, when Niko "naSu" Kovanen decided to step aside from competitive Counter-Strike, followed up by Grandell leaving the number one Finnish team.

natu's ENCE have to look for a replacement yet again

This time it is Rintala, who replaced Grandell only three weeks ago, leaving for a team called minttu. The team placed second at Assembly Winter and have participated in the first season of Fragbite Masters, where they crashed out of the first group stage following losses to fnatic and ENCE.

Reflex tried out playing with ence couple weeks but things did not go so good as expected. So we started talk within team if we should start playing again as KHRN was eager to start playing with us

So here we are again.

Well, for some people kills isn't important for them. Their role is being the balance in the team and flash, smoke for the teammates, so they can push, peak whatever. Like fifflarn and Cech9 did.

I do have my brain turned on, and have been playing this game for far too long. I realize the "team roles", but going through a lot of teams I realized eventually that teamplay and teamrole, while not being a part of your individual skill, it still fuckin matters if you can shoot. Yes, your role is to flash, but if the only thing you do well is flash and smoke, then you are limiting your team to four players. Why can't somebody "better" flash for you, and still be able to follow up with a frag? Brain please. I'm not hating on anyone, but it's a fact. Say you play soccer, and you have this guy that can pass well but when he's on a 1on1 with the keeper he cannot score for shit. Then you have this other dude, that can do both things well - who would you rather pick? Flashing doesn't require genius minds. I know sometimes it's down to the atmosphere this person creates, but you get my drift.

Sure, but anyway. Please don't call football for soccer. But what about his mates is better individual than him or he just better in the support role than his mates. Who knows. But for sure, he isn't playing at this level for nothing. So this guy can something and is important for his teammates.

It's the english language, so I won't call it voleyball for sure, but soccer/football both refer to the same sport so I don't get what the problem is. I wasn't talking about Natu in particular, just in general. There's no "suppotr" role in a game where it's about kills. This isn't League of Legends where you gotta ward - if you are a shit fragger, you will stay one. Whatever though.

I gave up on you when you said brain please, then again when you came off with the soccer response, so it's alright. I think I know it pretty well for having played since 2002. I don't think kills is all, but I do think having a 5-man roster that is able to both kill and support like you've said is better. Flashing for your teammates and cooperatin with them is a part of the game, yes, but what I mean is you might as well bring your buddy who has never played CS at all and tell him to flash for you when the enemy comes. Result is the same, but when that buddy is left in a 1v1 he has no clue what the fuk he is doing. What I mean is you need to have both smarts and aim, but being able to flash/smoke/support does not mean you have to be a shit fragger. Whatever, because you must've completely misunderstood. My CS career ended a long time ago, thanks anyways.

He actually has a clue and I completely agree with him. You on the other hand are just ignorant to the fact that kills/landing shots can be a huge part in this game, especially on the T side. So what he is saying that anyone can flash and support their team, that just takes knowledge and experience, but why not have a guy that wins most of his duels and even comes ahead in an unfair angle? Even fifflarn got important kills, but he is almost bottom fragger in every game and a lot people doesn't see, he is getting important kills, but only how many kills he got. Like Western Wolves wasn't such great individual as their many teams they faced against. But still won because of great teamplay and communication. Simple as that.

Of course, but that's just practice. Then you face them off against a team who have great teamplay and communication as well, but are more skilled and they get shat on. It's alright to put in training, but then the better skilled people with the same training will win anyways. Fiff was the weakest point of the team, not so much now as he's stepped up a bit, but it doesn't mean he is still less individually skilled than say fribert/f0rest and you will never see him do a 3deag hs like friberg did yesterday or two days ago versus ACES :-) You just don't want to accept the fact that sometimes being individually skilled makes or breaks the game, if he was always doing the kills then the scores would be 16:2, not 16:7 or 16:12. Simple as that :-)

doesn't really matter who comes and goes. there is simply no talent left at finnish csgo scene at all since all the talented guys have been long gone. people just aren't that interested in csgo. 1.6 had a good over 10-year run with the best fps players in the world and it is over now. time to move on.
