Campus Party Without CS

Brazilian justice forbids Counter-Strike at the upcoming Campus Party.

Brazilian LAN party Capus Party has been forbidden to organize Counter-Strike competition. Capus Party is scheduled to take place from 11th-17th of February in São Paulo. The organization was hoping to attract thousands of visitors, but the hope seems to be unreachable without the Counter-Strike.

As of today, Brazilian justice has released a judicial order, forbidding Campus Party to organize any Counter-Strike competitions. The distribution of Counter-Strike in Brazil was banned in mid January, and the streak of disallowing Counter-Strike activity in Brazil continues.

Will the two cases affect upcoming events like WCG and ESWC qualifiers to take place? ESWC is still without a national partner for the 2008 season. How things will escalade in Brazil and what’s next, more information about it here on HLTV.org.

Maybe you don't understand the rivalry among Brazil and Argentina on soccer.
