EMS One Katowice 2014NiP ease past 3DMAX
Ninjas in Pyjamas are one step away from the EMS One Katowice playoffs following an easy 16-5 victory over 3DMAX on de_dust2.
NiP got off to a very strong start in this match, picking up the first three rounds purely based on retakes as they gave 3DMAX plenty of room to operate.
The Danish team then almost got their first round after rushing the B site. Jacob "Pimp" Winneche came close to winning a 1-on-3 situation but was taken down by Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund in the final gun battle.
It was only when the scoreline was 0-5 in favour of NiP that 3DMAX were finally able to pick up their first round of the game, mostly due to getting two early kills, which really put the Swedes on the back foot.

3DMAX would go on to win two more rounds, reducing the deficit to 3-5, but their recovery was halted thanks to a stunning round from Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund, who got three AWP kills inside the B site, paving the way for his team to win the round.
NiP regained control of the game after this round and continued on a roll, winning the remaining rounds of the first half to go into the break up 12-3.
3DMAX came out looking alive and kicking from half-time as they won the pistol round with ease and then the following anti-eco round, but then NiP proved their superiority in gun play and picked up four rounds in a row to seal a 16-5 victory.
