SoA Quits DEL

The Danish top team Spirit of Amiga has decided to quit DEL's Elite Division. All the players have agreed with this decision that comes due to lack of motivation.

Even though SoA continues to impress in Extreme Masters, having recently won their group in front of fnatic, they've been off to a bad start at DEL's Elite Division. Now, the team has decided to quit the Danish national league. According to their statement, the players haven't been able to find time to practice due to their tight schedule and, therefore, the motivation has lacked.

Quitting DEL, SoA will continue to play in Extreme Masters and EPS Denmark. TwAizZ - manager of SoA - tells that they've picked EPS Denmark instead of DEL due to higher prizes and LAN finals being held. Furthermore, he points out that there is no political motive in the decision.

With SoA's exit from the Elite Division, the field has been cutted down to five teams. The participating teams are (listed by the current standings):

  1. Denmark ideal
  2. Denmark mTw
  3. Denmark wooSai
  4. Denmark Gravitas
  5. Denmark chemistry

Not if the bad result and the lack of motivation prevents them from playing to their best in Extreme Masters and EPS. Think it was a wise decision to withdraw.

There is a life outside the e-Sport scene aswell. And it's important for pro-gamers to keep that in mind! I think it's for the best to withdraw, so that they won't be playing in too many tournaments at once? Otherwise they'll most likely end up like the other SoA teams = Split up?

nope. anyway they could not reach this one -> no motivation. but this doesn't mean no practice. we all know they are able to do smthng big this year. they will focus on del for holidays or something, you know, just to relax :)

How can Team Chemistry still be in the competition if they've split? Updates please.
