SK, SoA And More To EM Finals

The end of the group stage in Extreme Masters II reaches its end. Today the very last match will determine who will go directly to the finals at CeBIT, and who will have to play one playoff match.

Teams that finished first in their group will automatically advance to the finals, and a one step closer to the amazing prize money.
Qualified for Extreme Masters II Finals

Denmark SoA
Sweden SK
Finland Excello (former CMAX.gg)
Denmark mTw / Germany mousesports
Korea e-STRO (qualified from Extreme Masters L.A)
Brazil mibr (qualified from Extreme Masters L.A)
Last participant to secure a spot at the finals will be found tomorrow. mTw and mousesports will battle for the first place in group B at Intel Friday Night Game in Cologne, Germany.
Teams finishing second in their group

Germany aTTaX
Sweden fnatic
Finland roccat
Denmark mTw / Germany mousesports
Teams finishing third in their group

Denmark Gravitas
Russia Virtus.pro
Denmark wooSai
France atLanteam
The team finishing second and third in their group, will have to play a playoff match, to advance to the finals. The matchups will be drawn tomorrow by ESL, right after mTw and mousesports finished playing. Teams finishing second in their group, will face a team finishing third in their group. These playoff matches will determine which four teams will advance to the finals at CeBIT. The playoff matches will be played some time during next week.

Reaching the end of the group stage means saying goodbye to some of the teams that did not make the cut for the finals or the playoffs. Even big prominent names will not make it to the finals, and following teams did not make it.
Poland MYM
Germany mTw
France aAa
Russia forZe
Bulgaria Man1a
Norway MYM (removed from Extreme Masters)
Germany Competo
Poland UNITED
Norway unsterblich (removed from Extreme Masters)
France McPoker.emL
Sweden Playzone
Spain x6tence
Not all will leave empyt handed, as teams winning matches will receive 400$ for each match they won. Team participating in the matches being played at DreamHack also had their chances to grab some money, as a total of 10.500$ was up for grabbing. Teams advancing to the finals, will however have a chance to grab 50.000$, which is given to the Extreme Masters II winner.

Drop by our coverage section to have a look at the final standings in the groups, all demos from the group stage and a lot more.

The playoff matches and the finals will all be broadcasted and covered here at HLTV.org, so don't miss out!

No problem at all. The finals will be played in Germany. The government can't stop them from going to Germany.
