ESWC sets 2014 event dates

The Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) organisers have unveiled the first details about this year's event.

ESWC 2014 will take place from October 29th to November 2nd under the wings of Paris Games Week, a trade fair for video games held every year at the Parc des expositions de la porte de Versailles.

The first day of the event will be dedicated to the French ESWC finals, with the international tournament set to start only on Thursday, October 30th.

Details about this year's ESWC event are scarce, but the organisers wrote on Twitter that it will be "greater, better, stronger."


Clan-Mystik won ESWC 2013's CS:GO tournament

The games that will be played at ESWC 2014, as well as information about the qualifying process, will be announced from May 20th to June 20th.

Last year's CS:GO tournament was won by Clan-Mystik, who beat VeryGames 2-0 in the final to collect the $12,500 cheque and succeed Ninjas in Pyjamas as the ESWC champions.
