CPH Games bracket drawn

The Copenhagen Games group stage has come to a close after the final matches for second place were finished, as we now see thirty teams placed into a single elimination bracket.

Not too much of a surprise happened in the second place deciders, as most of the teams are relatively unknown to the international community, although Lemondogs had big issues against the local SKB-EC.

f0rest is ready for the playoffs

As we mentioned before, the winners of groups were set into the bracket according to their seeds, while the second placed teams were drawn randomly to them. That resulted in the following bracket:

Sweden NiP
Finland ENCE vs. Denmark AESTHETIC
Denmark 3DMAX vs. Germany Wild Fire
Denmark Reason vs. Denmark Bango-I-Karise
Denmark dignitas vs. United Kingdom fm-eSports
Norway H2k vs. Denmark FLÆKKETID
Sweden Publiclir.se vs. Finland Menace
Sweden fnatic vs. Denmark tRICKED
Poland Virtus.pro vs. Denmark TEAMGOK
Denmark ESC vs. Slovakia NecroRaisers
Sweden Property vs. Sweden Lemondogs
Sweden LGB vs. Denmark oXzone
France LDLC vs. Sweden Karnage
Germany mousesports vs. Netherlands Avenue
Germany ALTERNATE vs. Denmark naptoR.Factory
France Titan

The round of 32 will begin at 17:00 and the next and final round of matches of today is scheduled for 21:00 , so keep your HLTV.org tab open as we will continue to cover Copenhagen Games 2014.

No games for best teams so no one can watch them-this is one of many reasons CPH games is trash.

They dont care if you like to watch Top teams only. What they want is More teams = More tournament days = Tickets = More advertisement for the Sponsors / Money ! I am like you ,i just want to skip the "weak" teams and see the top teams but....

Facepalm. The lower ranked teams are much better matched with the randoms than Titan and NiP are. There's a reason they were ranked the #1 and #2 team in the world. Logic, how does it work!?

Now you're just making something out of nothing. There are so many tournaments that give BYE rounds to high seeds. If they had to play, they'd just roll whoever they played. They're gonna play good teams eventually.
2014-04-18 19:49

not weird, they need 16 teams exactly to advance to the next round and nip and titans are obviously the highest seeded teams. it has to do with uneven amount of groups

sure, but they already had an advantage on the groupstage (both teams had groups of 3) and now basically getting a WO. Still, it doesn't matter that much cause titan and nip would have crushed every team easily that finished 2nd in the groupstage.

shut up man, its fking hilarious that you get the same team in the first round of the bracket again. Even when it's a random draw you should always avoid playing against the same team again in the next round, same as it goes in all kinds of sport.

The way they did these brackets is retarded. They should have divided the teams which weren't directly placed in the bracket in 2 groups where they would draft them from so that they could not end up against the same opponent as in their original group ... Avenue for example have played the same danish team twice, another one once and then mouz twice. Nice event xD. Same counts for property

this is so unfair for the low teams ... they will be eliminated by the high teams easily ... this shud have been high vs high, low vs low ... again and again we see same 8/10/12 teams qualifying for the quarters and semis becoz high teams dont get eliminated as they have no fight in grup stages...
