/10/ join Planetkey Dynamics

Planetkey Dynamics have announced that they have secured the services of /10/.

Earlier in the week, Anil "cLy" Gülec had taken to Facebook to reveal that his team had already found an organisation, less than two weeks after the players had gone public about the project.

With /10/ due to take part in the first qualifier for FACEIT's Spring League later today, the team have been given a major boost as they will don the colours of Planetkey Dynamics.

stavros & co join new orga

The move signals Planetkey Dynamics' first attempt at breaking into the CS:GO circuit; the Germany-based organisation is known for housing League of Legends and Starcraft II divisions.

"For a pretty long time we were searching for the right team to represent our name in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and suddenly /10/ popped on our radar," a statement from Planetkey Dynamics read.

"Right after the first meeting we noticed that we could fit together perfectly with the team and from our hearts we wish these guys the best possible time with our organization.

"The tone we are setting with this new pickup is clear, we can´t wait for the start of the new EPS Season."

Planetkey Dynamics' CS:GO division looks as follows:

Germany Hendrik "strux1" Goetzendorff
Germany Dimitrios "stavros" Smoilis
Germany Anil "cLy" Gülec
Germany Tobias "Troubley" Tabbert
Germany Denis "denis" Howell

A merger between this team en Mouseports team with at least Troubley, ChrisJ, Spiddi + 2 would make a international top 8 lan team. At least if they stick together for more than 6 months.

As long as they dont behave like kids and dont split up after a few disappointing matches, i'm happy. Apart from the possibility of blaming german cs again, it's a very nice team and i wish them the best. If they can leave that childish behaviour behind, I'll think they might be able to reach #1 in germany. However. gl & hf

:D you're right. but you dont have to go so far in history. When most of the german 1.6-stars quit playing, after competitive environment focused on csgo, the remaining players were unable to fill the gap. Instead, it felt like some wannabe stars thought their the kings and acted like whining little girls. That finally led to bad blood and impatience among the players, which results (together with those tiny-balled cheaters) in an devastating view on the german scene. So they didnt waste time. Less than 2 years :(( // enough hate, btt

i believe that german scene doesnt have players with winning philosophy in them like the before cyx accident mouz squad, the old attax (with kapio, mooN,chucky, chef and roman) squad and the 2003 mouz(again) squad. newer players have huge idea of themselves without a fucking reason and this is i believe the source of conflicts.

Planetkey Dynamics is really hitting into esports hardcore. Great Battlefield 4 team, they have a great StarCraft II player, now they're picking up a Counter-Strike team. Impressive. If only they weren't such a questionable company...

So far German teams have only been among the 2. best teams in the world in CS:GO. They have several big e-sports organizations and the biggest population in EU(besides Turkey). Whats the reason? Denmark has a team among the best in the world, a country with 1/16 of the population in Germany. And Denmark has the same amount of 2. best teams in the world as germany. CS:GO is a little game in Germany?

that has nothing to do with population, neither in computer games nor in real sports. it's all about the mindset and how important people see the things they are doing. from my experience playing with scandinavians they just take the game a lot more serious than most germans and are therefore ready to invest more time into it to reach their goals if needed.

Only in cs:go or in all e-sport? If the latter, why did the e-sport organizations rise then?

that's the case for every so called esports. it's also not the case that people take a year off for gaming like they do it in sweden sometimes, here you would get asked very awkward questions afterwards when applying for a decent job again. german orgs like mtw,sk,mouz began to rise at the very beginning of esports when everybody was very enthusiastic, it was a new business after all. but who knows what the future brings, maybe at some point a few players are ready to step it up.

"Here you would get asked very awkward questions afterwards when applying for a decent job again". Well same it's the same in Sweden. Maybe not the same level, but if you are unemployed for more than 3 months, it's a big NONO.
