Wild Fire win EPS Spring 2014

Wild Fire are the new EPS champions in Germany following a 2-0 victory over mousesports in the grand final of the Spring season.

The top four sides from the regular season gathered at the ESL's TV studio, in Cologne, to contest yet another edition of the EPS finals, with €7,500 up for grabs in this tournament.

Despite fielding a lineup with a stand-in (Fatih "gob b" Dayik, who replaced Timo "Spiidi" Richter), mousesports still entered the event as favourites, and they gave a good account of themselves in the semi-finals, beating EnRo GRIFFINS 2-0 (16-12 on de_inferno, 16-7 on de_dust2) to reach the tournament decider.

chrisJ's one-man show not enough to win title

On the other end of the bracket, Wild Fire and ALTERNATE played out a three-map thriller, with Benjamin "qk-Mantis" Oberlein's side picking up a 2-1 victory (16-13 on de_mirage, 7-16 on de_dust2, 16-14 on de_inferno).

The first map of the grand final, de_dust2, was a very close affair and even went into overtime, where Wild Fire ran out 21-19 victors. de_inferno was much more one-sided, and in the end mousesports were downed 10-16, without a doubt a big disappointment for Chris "chrisJ" de Jong's side, who lose the German title.

How is that shittalk? and to answer your Q because I have history with 1.6, and do still like to follow international cs, I try to watch most matches of big tournaments, and even acted as on-site commentator for theblast big dutch csgo event, as well as the belgian one.

Well most teams have teammates all from the same country because that just works the best with everything (comm. in-game but also things outside the game). But we don't have good players besides him so we can't form a good team :P

kajsk1ng is way too unreliable/inactive/unstable to form a long-term team with. He's a good player, and he always will be. The dutch scene is dead, there's only a few decent dutch players, not enough to form a team to compete on top level.

Also better hs % across the board. But mouz had sone blowout rounds while usually the rounds of WF were really close. I remember somebrounds where the bomb blew up but they all got fragged. One where nooky had to run because of the time on inferno for instance. More kills for mouz and less deaths, but still a round to WF. just an example

You do realize we read the simplest way to say it, if someone tweets the casters we will generally change but take into account its not easy to say half these names as fast as we have to. Please understand when someone writes their name enkay j we ignore the j as its separate.
