Montreal to host ESWC NA qualifier

CyberActiv Productions has announced that it will put together the North American qualifier for this year's ESWC finals.

The event will run from July 18th to 19th at the Théâtre Telus, in Montreal, with the winners of each game getting all expenses paid to compete at the ESWC world finals in Paris, in October.

The news will be greatly welcomed by the North American scene, who since 2012 have seen these regional qualifiers being played online.

It is still unknown which games will be played at the event, but according to ESEA News CS:GO will be featured.

Its in Quebec... the worst place on earth. French Canadians are the worst type of people. Its noce to see something in Canada but I feel sorry for the people that go and have to deal with the french candians

French Canadians are rude. Simple as that. Ive been to Quebec and there was hardly any people that were polite. Your government in Quebec is fucked in the head. And I don't like the Montreal Canadians hockey team but that really has nothing to do with your province, I'm just not a big fan. You guys want to be your own country... like really? come on.. thats so stupid

Yeah I see where your coming from if your referring to Quebec. The only place in all of Atlantic Canada that speaks French are certain parts of New Brunswick. Also, there are an alarming amount of Atlantic Canadians out west.

Ive never been to New Brunswick or St Johns or anything like that. I don't really know a lot about the people there. I realize you meant Atlantic, not Quebec. I have a friend who has relatives in Newfoundland. I have to say though... Newfews are hilarious! They talk so fast and so hard to understand them sometimes.

In general I've never had too many terrible experiences in Quebec, but that might be because I can speak French, haha. Montreal is an awesome city, and one of my favourites in Canada. Montreal and Vancouver. Montreal has better nightlife and cultural things to do, whereas Vancouver has better weather and amazing outdoor things to do and enjoy. Toronto's okay too, but the Maple Leafs suck, lol.
