whimp replace hpx in mTw

After the many changes at the Danish scene, which have resulted in a complete new Gravitas lineup and a closed wooSai, a new one has come.

The former Gravitas player, Jonas 'whiMp' Svendsen, is today presented as their new fifth. whiMp will replace hpx, who has been known worldwide for his skills with the AWP. The team does have, however, two great AWP-players in Sunde and zonic.

whiMp is not a new face on the Danish scene. The 19-year-old talent was once considered as one of the best talents in the world, and has a 1st place from ESWC 2004 on his conscience, too. Back then, he was playing for the Danish top team The Titans.

The victory at ESWC 2004 tells that despite whiMp's young age, mTw has also taken in an experienced person. This is the first change for mTw since they picked up Sunde in may 2007.

With whiMp in the lineup, mTw now consists of:

Christoffer 'Sunde' Sunde
Danny 'zonic' Sørense
Muhammed 'mJe' Eid
Alexander 'ave' Holdt
Jonas 'whiMp' Svendsen
Brian 'hpx' Christensen (inactive)

According to the organization of mTw, hpx will remain in the lineup, though as inactive. We don't know whether hpx will seek new adventures or will take a break from Counter-Strike. The Swedish site Rakaka.se has, however, apparently recieved a tip that puts hpx in a lineup together with Paddy, zone, spx, and vimo. And who knows if they're right? After all, they had foreseen this change days ago..

mTw neeeds to change avE , or he needs to upgrade his skills ..

I think ave has been awesome lately. hpx was the right one to change - I wouldn't have chose whiMp as replacement, though. :P

lol ave unskilled? he is the main reason behind NoA's succes. His mastermind speaks for it self. ofc his aim is not like the others, but u need good tactics to continue staying in the top dude :P (IMO)

I disagree :) IMO ave is the best tactical leader in Denmark. if i had to choose, i wouldn't pick Jonas "whimp" Svendsen, but KK :P

I believe whiMp is the right replacement. He's 100% pure talent, and he've always been! Think he'll do an amazing job for mTw.NoA :)

Can´t say I dindn´t expect this. That whimp would join mtw after the Gravitas team broke up was pretty sure, especially if you´ve read the interview he gave hltv.org not long ago. He also has played with the guys quite often as "Soprano". And hpx also would´ve been my pick to be replaced, if you saw sunde playing the awp in his "mirror"-days you can say that he isn´t worser than hpx. And #1 ave is much more important with his tactics than hpx with his awp

mTw(NoA) has been good, and hpx is still one of the best awpers in the world. If we had to make some change in the team, hpx is the way to go, but I just do not see why the change is necessary

All this shit is unnescesery, mTw just needs to take a week long bootcamp and train their asses of. Then they will play for half year beating eweryone. and then new bootcamp:D Cant say whimp a bad palyer, deffinetely not, but mTw just needs to keep it togehter.

If ave was such an ordinary player as you describe him, I think mTw would've replaced him and not hpx. But again, reading all these comments just show that ave is a underestimated player. In that way, he can only impress ;)

to all mTw fans and non mTw fans. Hpx was a great awp player allmost unplaceable but whimp has an higher average skill when it comes to ak47/m4a1 and somebody maybe dont know but sunde i allso a great awp player and he has the potential to be better than ever. And Whimp has potential to. He was 15 years old when he played in titans and he is one og denmarks greatest talent. he said that he will fight very hard to get to that level again. Of my konklusion i think mTw will take their game to i higher level even though they lost denmarks best awp player, because i think whimp is a more stabel in his game than hpx is. i think it was the right decision. sorry for my bad english.

If sunde's AWP = Hpx AWP then the replacement is good because hpx cant AK/m4a1 well as compared to whimp..!!

Whimp is not better with ak47/m4a1 than hpx is, maybe opposite with the magnum sniper rifle, but comes to all in the practicing. Spawn "Has" "Had" the best aim ever: (told) - Does that mean he can beat f0rest 1on1 in some sort 1on1 map like... aztec, but when it comes to all, I don't think you can say that someone is better with ak47 or m4a1 than other players in the professionel scene, because ak47 is not 1 regular weapon or m4a1 to get good at, there are 100000000 things to do with it, and it comes to sens and settings and the "Human" reflexes too. Means that hpx maybe's better concentrating on more targets than whimp is, or whimp is better reacting on shots etc, or when it comes to ak47: hpx can maybe choose the right movement more than whimp, or whimp some other stuff. Controlling weapons, aiming, accuarate, reflexes is 25% of the game. Everything comes to sitting at spots looking at the right place with the crosshair, especially when it is compared to ur teammates positions and their "Nades" comming upon! got it? And if professionel players reads something like this: "Hpx is better with m4a1 than whimp! Whimp is just better with ak47!!!!!" - "Remeber that HPX is Denmarks best awp!!!!!!!!" This will have this thought in the head: "ROFLCOPTER!!" And it was not the right decision to get hpx out, just sry I edit cuz I read the stuff but: It was a must, it was a choice that hurted mTw alot with a loss like HPX, but he has other stuff to do, which people has to understand, it was not the right desicion to replace hpx with someone else. Whimp has potetial, yes that's right, but when it comes to all, it is still a new construction that has to be finished.
