DreamHack Summer may be over, but we still have some highlights left to show you, and here is one from NiP hot-shot Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund.

Despite not playing to his usual standards against HellRaisers (-2 frag ratio) fragwise, Alesund had some great moments against the Ukraine-based team, just like Adam "friberg" Friberg, who was the MVP of the match.

In this round we see Alesund stopping HR's long rush with two headshots. Later on, he re-enters the A site after the bomb had been planted and takes down two more opponents to win the round for his team.

I think he was more consistent in NiP...don't forget 1 vs 2 clutch against Na'Vi, he secure overtime round for NiP...

He is IGL and still performed very well. IMO the second best player in NiP even though it's hard to say. Without a doubt the most consistant player too.

Fifflaren was negative despite winning the tournament. Of course stats are not everything, but this one says a lot.

I was wondering why GR looked down to the ground to turn around when he was defusing. Could it be that this way he turns around faster (smaller radius) & yet hide his gun from view? Also seems he would then simply have to move up to engage the guy behind the quad box. if so, he's really on another level.

It increases the distance he has to move his mouse, since now he also has to pull his view up. It might be he was trying to hide the fact that he is turning to kill them. Might also be just reflex from trying to hide & keep defusing bomb while also minimizing distance to turn for kill.

Indeed. The game vs Titan f0rest did huge,in the game versus HellRaisers friberg did huge and in the final gtr did huge , xizt played consistent all the tournament and fifflaren did also pretty well. Overall I think f0rest was the MVP.

it was HR round to lose. They should never have peeked that soon after hearing GTR defusing. What a fucking fail, right after a very important round they just had won. Make me so fucking mad because they would have won the round after this one because of CTs being broke, and would have had a real shot at winning this map. GTFO HR
