Edward to miss ESEA completely

Natus Vincere have confirmed that Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev will miss this weekend's ESEA Finals completely. Arseny "ceh9" Trynozhenko will act as a stand-in.

On Wednesday it was announced that the US embassy had lost Sukhariev's passport, and that Trynozhenko would have to play at least their opening match against OEF in his place.

Now the US embassy has informed Sukhariev that he will not receive his passport until next week, which effectively means there is no way for him to take part in the ESEA Finals this weekend.

Na`Vi will need a good performance from ceh9 to battle NiP and Virtus.pro

Trynozhenko was last seen playing at DreamHack Winter 2013, where Na`Vi were unable to pass the group stage. He had been a part of Na`Vi since the team was formed in 2010.

Na`Vi will play Open Equal Free in the opening round of ESEA Invite Season 16 Global Finals at 04:00 today in Dallas. Sukhariev should still be able to arrive in time for next week's IronGaming LAN.

The time is dynamic across the site (indicated by the "..." underneath numbers) and is changing according to ones given timezone - which you're able to change in your profile. I haven't noticed if lurppis is at the ESEA LAN, but when he wrote this it will be written with US timezone and changed dynamically.

I really do need to explain it to you then. The time in the article (and every other) is as dynamic as the one on the matchpages (a little hint; try to hover your cursor above the stippled time and see what happens). What I meant about the time is set to US timezone is exactly what it is; it just changes dynamically to everybody's current timezone. So if the time is set to 9pm US CDT (making it "today") it will convert to 4am CEST (our time). EDIT: You got it.

As long as ceh9 doesn't do what Edward usually does - Na`Vi are okay, cause if Zeus decides to try sticking ceh9 in Edward's position and force ceh9 to fully integrate in Edward's role, there might be issues. . . Na`Vi still have all the chances to go far if ceh9 kind of finds his game, feels his game and plays a back up role for the whole team (support) or try to go first and open sites, but I think for ceh9 to die in the beginning of the round will lead to trouble, so maybe trying to lurk around could work and play a supportive role could potentially work. ceh9 needs to stay alive each round for as long as possible :) Basically ceh9 would need to do whatevr he feels more comfortable doing, but not forgetting that he plays for a team and make sure whatever he does still works out for the team and for whatever zeus want to do each round... Lets not also forget that minus Edward also means that the team might be a little hard to be read and predicted in some minor scenarios... Anyway, its hard to sit in front of the monitor and discuss what is better for the team, so lets just wait and see... gl ceh9

Ceh9 has nothing to loose. He can risk, he can try play different play style that Profi gamers are not used to. When he will play bad, he can just say that he did not play half year at pro scene. My opinion is that he will do great at this tournament. + He saw the play styles and tactics of the teams for like half a year when he streamed a lot of games, so he can be very usefull in this way and help Zeus with the right dessision.
