ESEA schedule updated for Virtus

Earlier today Virtus.pro's ability to participate in ESEA Invite Season 16 Global Finals was in jeopardy, but the schedule has been revised to accommodate them.

Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski was unable to travel to Dallas with the rest of the Polish squad due to personal issues, but has now been booked on a flight set to arrive early tomorrow afternoon.

Virtus.pro's manager Christian Lenz also shared a short statement to give fans a better understanding of what happened to Pogorzelski and started this chain of events:

"Hey, a short time before our departure to Dallas we got the info from Snax that his father had a horrible accident. We agreed with him to let him stay at home to spend time with his family till he gets the news that his father will be safe. He told us just now that he is able to go, so ESEA worked out a solution to help us with the travel," Christian Lenz told ESEA.net.

"Thanks to Marc, Craig and Tomi for helping us and please be so kind and do not ask any further questions from Snax. We just want to play and focus on the event and make him feel as comfortable as possible."

ESEA has revised the schedule for this season's final event to accommodate Virtus.pro, and we have also updated our viewer's guide to reflect these new changes that see matches pushed back.

You can find the fully updated schedule below. The times listed are estimates, as ESEA hopes to start matches as soon as possible with reasonable breaks between games to catch up in time.

Struggling with the fact that his father had an awful accident the day before would be more challenging than the jetlag imo.

Mmm, are the bets on NaVi match going to be cancelled or will they simply move it over to tomorrow? That's what I'd like to know kind of, not urgently, but would be cool to know before I go out and drink... Just gotta make sure I re-bet first on navi match first and then go party :) Sad I took a vacation day at work today just to watch Na`Vi's 1st game and work tomorrow instead, but I guess that's life, since it's an accident that happened then can't complain here, hope all is well with his dad...

I just watch CS at work. The question is; why would he take a day off work to watch his favorite team get rekt by shroud?

Only problems in this season, teams withdrawing, players not attending because of passport issues, teams not able to attend due to roster changes, this, what else to come? xD
