Arena Showdown schedule released

Hitbox have released the schedule for their upcoming online tournament, Arena Showdown, as well as the full list of participating teams.

Earlier in the week we reported that five teams had been invited to join the tournament, with the remaining three spots to be filled by application.

We can now confirm that those spots have been given to Aligon, BuggIT, and Reason Gaming, bringing the total number of competitors to eight.

On Monday and Tuesday, the first two games will be best-of-one contests, with the winner of each squaring off in a deciding best-of-three.

The winners from each night will then meet on Wednesday in a final best-of-three to determine first and second place.

Monday, July 14th
19:30	ESG!	vs. Reason
20:30	OverGaming	vs. BuggIT
21:30	Semi-final #1

Tuesday, July 15
19:30	mousesports	vs. Copenhagen Wolves (as CPH.mix)
20:30	Berzerk	vs. AliGon
21:30	Semi-final #2

Wednesday, July 16
19:30	Grand final

The $1,000 tournament will be broadcast by CSArena on the Hitbox platform, with coverage provided by HLTV.org, so stay tuned.

They played with zende, twist, pyth, KAB0M and Berg in the ESL One Qualifier, no idea if it will be the same lineup.
