Nostalgie's roster for ASUS ROG

Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov has announced the roster for the newest version of Nostalgie, which will be attending ASUS ROG Summer 2014 this weekend in Helsinki, Finland.

Joining Aleksei "⁠OverDrive⁠" Birukov is his teammate from Prague Challenge last year, Dan "⁠apEX⁠" Madesclaire, who has brought his current team's AWPer Hovik "⁠KQLY⁠" Tovmassian along for the ride.

To round up the five man roster OverDrive has also called upon the services of FlipSid3 Tactics' Andreas "⁠znajder⁠" Lindberg, and Copenhagen Wolves' Jacob "⁠Pimp⁠" Winneche.

Nostalgie have been drawn in group D at ASUS ROG Summer 2014 together with Recursive, Azmican "⁠asmo⁠" Berberoglu's Penta and Max "⁠ruuit⁠" Aspe's MARVEL.

ASUS ROG Summer 2014 will take place this week starting on Thursday at 16:00 at Helsinki Exhibition Center, and features a $10,000 prize purse. HLTV.org will provide you hot matches.

Heh, a good roster. In theory. apEX can be a true beast, if even he's an IGL. KQLY is a beast IF he's on fire. Pimp can truly put a stop to the opponent's plans. And schneider. The one who wants to prove himself once again. He won't be stopped easily.

No idea who he is, so I left him out of it. :D He's the wildcard, in my opinion.

I believe he is a rich guy who can buy everyone. Thus he got this group and other teams togheter in the past.

He's not a rich guy. He works as an engineer at some company. He told this in his interview after winning the Prague Challenge last year, that and he also told that: "People go on vacations with their savings, I myself enjoy playing CS so I sponsor my friends to come and play with me" That my friend is the true passion of CS! :)

yea he is, but in the interview he said that the money he spent on that team was his own personal savings from his own job. i tried searching the VOD for that broadcast, wasnt able to find it though :(

He wont reach their level nor does he need it. He is known for asking players to join him for a fun trip to events to have some good time and potentially cause some upsets playing the game with no stress. The result doesn't matter for him, even though of course he'd love winning, but that's what he confirmed himself last year before Prague event (which I saw ppl post on here) which they won at the end :)
