dignitas move past Vox Eminor

Vox Eminor, who got to start on the Terrorist side, picked a fairly common strategy in the pistol round as they smoked middle and pushed short. Luke "⁠Havoc⁠" Paton landed three kills and Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage two to give Vox their first round of the match.

The Australian side were looking very lively and could have won the first gun round if they had not gone middle with the bomb in a mid-B split. Aaron "⁠AZR⁠" Ward, in a 1-on-4 situation, still got three kills, all headshots, but was taken down in the decisive gun battle.

The following rounds were neck-and-neck as neither side were able to control proceedings, but the last five rounds of half went dignitas' way, with the Danish side taking a 9-6 lead into the second half.

In the pistol round, the Danes went for an A push and easily destroyed their opponents, with Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz taking the plaudits with his three kills. The first gun round also went to dignitas, who pushed B, and now it was Philip "⁠aizy⁠" Aistrup's time to shine as he added four rounds to his tally.

dignitas were now leading 13-6, and complacency almost cost them a round right after as they lost four players to a Vox Eminor eco, but in the end Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen saved the day.

Chad "⁠SPUNJ⁠" Burchill's triple AWP kill in the mid area gave Vox Eminor a lifeline as the Australian team reduced the deficit to 9-14, but dignitas then picked up two rounds in a row, the second of which thanks to a quad kill from Andreas "⁠Xyp9x⁠" Højsleth, to seal a 16-9 victory.
