LDLC take down Virtus.pro

LDLC started the match by a mid-to-B attack that put the up 3-0. Fourth round saw the French score picks at A, which they converted into a round win and a 5-0 lead after a Polish save.

Down 0-5 as counter-terrorists, Virtus.pro started to lock things down with Jarosław "⁠pashaBiceps⁠" Jarząbkowski leading the way. Eventually his AWP and CZ-75 ace got the Poles within just one.

Virtus tied the game at five before Hovik "⁠KQLY⁠" Tovmassian's two kills gave LDLC the lead, followed by his team's two entry kills into B that forced their opponents on a save round.

Mathieu "⁠Maniac⁠" Quiquerez's triple made it 8-5 and broke Virtus' bank, but the Poles won a round with just a Scout and CZ-75s, before stopping LDLC's weak buy to end the half 7-8.

Virtus took B quickly on thier terrorist pistol round, and two Glock kills by Wiktor "⁠TaZ⁠" Wojtas tied the game. Two save rounds made it 10-8, and pashaBiceps's two AWP entries made it 12-8.

Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski got two early kills and Virtus took over B to make it 13-8, their largest lead in the map. Two double AWP kill rounds by KQLY then broke Virtus' economy, making it 11-13.

Three kills, including a one-on-two, by Snax got Virtus round fourteen, but they were then mowed down in the middle area twice, and had to save once, making it 13-14.

A triple by Kevin "⁠Uzzziii⁠" Vernel tied the game, and the Poles had to save. The map was then decided by an epic mid-air USP-S headshot by KQLY on pashaBiceps in the A-site.

Second map, de_mirage, was Virtus.pro's pick. Their B push on terrorist pistol was shut down, and so was their force buy attempt to the A site as Dan "⁠apEX⁠" Madesclaire and KQLY got two each.

Uzzziii aced the saving Virtus squad, and they lost a round to go down 0-5. Finally Snax's two AK kills got them a round in A, and pashaBiceps converted a two-on-four into a win with Filip "⁠NEO⁠" Kubski.

TaZ dying grenade killed the final LDLC member to break their economy, and Virtus got to 4-5 before the Frenchmen replied, retaking the A successfully on the next round.

Two AWP kills by Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer in a two-on-two made it 7-4, and even a triple by Snax two rounds later wasn't enough to bring Virtus a round, until entries from NEO and TaZ achieved just that.

Final round went to LDLC with Maniac scoring three kills, and their connector to window to B split won them the all important second pistol round, giving them a 11-5 lead.

pashaBiceps's two Scout kills almost won Virtus round two, but Happy's three, and a one-on-one, kept LDLC in the drivers' seat. Down 5-13, Paweł "⁠byali⁠" Bieliński got Virtus one round closer.

TaZ caught fire for the next two rounds, and a combination of four kills by NEO and pashaBiceps won the next one. LDLC scored three kills on a save as their lead was cut to just three.

Finally Maniac stopped the losing streak, winning a one-on-two. Virtus won two clean rounds in a row then, but LDLC took over B for game point. apEX's triple then closed the series out.
