ESEC Qualifying Round 2 draw

The organisers of the European Championship (ESEC) have revealed the match-ups of the second qualifying round.

The top eight sides from the first round have now entered the second qualifying phase, in which they will be joined by 16 other sides, 12 seeded and four non-seeded.

Some European heavyweights, such as Ukraine, Spain and Finland, will be taking part in this round, as they hope to get their hands on a place in the main round, where the 12 highest-ranked teams in the ranking are lying in wait.

The draw has thrown up a number of interesting clashes, with Portugal taking on Ireland, Slovakia meeting Bulgaria and Switzerland locking horns with Austria.
