3DMAX eliminate CPH Wolves

3DMAX are through to the Consolidation Final after a 16-13 victory against Copenhagen Wolves on de_cache.

The match started at a frantic pace, with neither side able to find the breakthrough as teams took turns to win rounds following some great eco action from both teams, including a quad kill from Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen in the second round.

After taking a narrow 4-3 lead, CPH Wolves saw themselves on the back foot as they conceded five rounds in a row, with 3DMAX giving a much better account of themselves than they did in their first match in Stockholm, against fnatic.

CPH Wolves still added two more rounds to their tally but there was not so much as a smile on the Danish players’ faces as they switched to the lesser-favoured Terrorist side trailing their opponents 6-9.

KHRN was the man of the match

3DMAX came out strongly in the second half and executed a perfect pistol round as they stopped CPH Wolves' B rush without losing a single player. Having planted the bomb while on eco, the Danes went for a buy in the third round, but they were slaughtered in A by Jesse "⁠KHRN⁠" Grandell.

After losing yet another round, CPH Wolves pulled one back, but then they were once again stunned by KHRN, who added three more kills to his name. Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander's side found a lifeline when they strung four rounds together, but 3DMAX kept their cool and walked away with a 16-13 victory.

GZ! awesome match of KHRN and the whole 3dmax team!

wow they really need to kick Pimp, he just looks so demotivated as soon as they loose a few rounds - there are plenty of good danish players to pick from with alot more personality and showing more motivation than a guy with his head down and sitting back in his seat touching his forehead and looking like someone has stolen his lollipop. He really has to learn alot more about what it means to be on a team, on the personal level. Now there might be more to it than that, but its not the first time he looks like he doesn't wanna play.

Pimp is on some studying trip in Rome i think, he hasn't played a game of CS for about a week or so

Doesn't really do anything for or against his personality if he's been in Rome or not. Its his show of mentality im after and how it affects both him and his teammates, its not his play, even though he haven't been that good for a while now.
