HellRaisers qualify for DH Winter

HellRaisers have secured a spot in DreamHack Winter's $250,000 CS:GO tournament after coming out on top of the last-chance European qualifier.

The four losing sides from the closed qualifier's quarter-finals locked horns on Wednesday in a last-chance qualifier, hoping to get their hands on the last spot at the upcoming CS:GO major.

In the first round, HellRaisers, who had given a frustrating account of themselves the day before, moved past ALTERNATE 2-0 following two 16-14 victories, whereas myXMG defeated FlipSid3 Tactics 2-1 in a very close contest between two Scandinavian sides.

As expected, HellRaisers, powered by another great performance from Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, confirmed their favourite status in the grand final and saw off myXMG but not without taking a few hits from the Danes. In the end, a 16-11 win on de_overpass and a 16-10 success on de_mirage have earned HR a spot at DH Winter.

Below you can find how the participants' list for DH Winter, which will take place from November 27-29, currently looks:

do a search on HR and ex-Astana Dragons led by ANGE1 at LAN events prior spreading your nonsense rage around here at something/someone.... Of course they might not come out of groups, anything is possible, but the point is that there's no need to put it in such a harsh way you do... Yes, they are still looking for their gameplay with s1mple and ANGE1 has recently confirmed it at SLTV starladder LAN in Kiev that they still havent 100% found their game in ceh9's interview few days ago as well as their spots within the team and places they used to hold on maps before have changed, as for kucher, for instance, kucher confirmed once again a few days ago in ceh9's interview that his spots on most maps have completely changed since s1mple joined and he basically now learns the game from scratch which definitely results in such a poor performance by him recently and criticism he gets and yes, they are struggling and they are not hiding it, but they're working on all of those things now and definitely its not going to just come in to work perfectly quickly and they start ending up in TOP 3 or 5th-8th, BUT its not impossible knowing what HR can do on LAN even after showing such a poor performance trying to qualify . . . HR really need to step it up and do good ASAP though as the organization needs better results and also the players themselves the more they lose the more they might think of new changes within the team which i am not going to be surprised if they happen again at the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015 if HR indeed dont come out of groups at ESWC and DreamHack...but we'll see... gl hf to them!

"Of course they might not come out of groups, anything is possible, but the point is that there's no need to put it in such a harsh way you do... " This is how Americans follow sports, by talking shit about the other teams. I don't think it's only Americans, either, if rumors about how Europeans act at your football games are true.

Vox won't be able to play since one of their members wedding (can't recall the name) is right around DHW. anyway, they're not australia's top1 atm.

i have a feeling that you can't read not just what i reply to your own question to me but even hltv articles. first, there will be no invite, but a qualification (and we don't even know yet whether it's gonna be for australia). second, like i said before, vox will be unable to attend DHW since topguN's wedding will be at the same time.

there will be a valve-paid bootcamp 2 weeks before the lan for every qualified team, so making a BYOC would've been at least unfair.
