DTS-CUP 2008Surprises in DTS-CUP

DTS-CUP kicked of earlier today with several European top teams.
First day at DTS-CUP should bring us the eight teams advancing from the group stage, to the playoffs being played Sunday. The two Finish teams, roccat and Excello, got a really bad start as they both lost their opening match at DTS-CUP. It did not go any better in the second or the third round as both teams lost all of their group stage matches. Both of the teams is hereby eliminated from DTS-CUP and will not be playing anymore at DTS-CUP.
Fighting for Germany, hoorai managed to advance to the playoffs, with 2 wins and 1 loss. Amazing Gaming also managed to gather enough points to advance to the playoffs, with 3 wins out of 3 possible.
The playoffs will start at 10:00 CET on Sunday. Matches will be played as single elimination and best of three maps.

Quarter-finals at DTS-CUPOne of the most exciting matches must be between HR and hoorai. HR won the Ukrainian KODE5 qualifier in front of Amazing Gaming. They have also been playing really strong in their group stage matches, defeating all enemies on their warpath. The Germans from hoorai only got in trouble when facing the under-dogs from pro100. The Ukrainian managed to beat them to the victory with a close match ending 16:14 in favour of pro100.
